And I chose Sony cause I'm a cheap bastard.
So I spent the entire crystal castles concert getting off with a fit girl, and forgot to press save when writing down ber number afterwards on my phone...fuuuuuck
I don't even know how you can press i instead of a. they are at opposite ends of the keyboard.
I typed that on my phone, and I was out of it after 4-5 hours of being next to very loud speakers in the mosh pit. Edit: Fuck I just got the joke. No she isn't fat.

I really like the colours in all of them, the composition on the second two is a little shabby though but better than before. However it is really cool how you placed that sphere thing in-between those two cliffs. You are definitely improving.

I just love taking pictures of the small things; I really need a macro lens.
Canon vs Nikon could compared to Intel vs AMD. Both are very strong in particular areas, and both have their weaknesses, but the majority seem to favor a particular side. I chose Canon because I find it has a better upgrade path from entry level than Nikon does.
What upgrade path are you going with? I've been wanking over the thought of a D700 as my next camera after my current D3000. Will take time and it doesn't do video so I'm not quite sure yet.

Cheers, didn't know that about the borders... thanks :D
Also perhaps try cropping out the light in the top right corner?
Content aware saves the day! Thanks for the feedback man.
Pickwickian your photos are amazing, what gear do you use?
Thanks dude. That's really kind. At the moment it's a D7000. Very new and treating me well. I've owned a D50 before upgrading to a D80 - which I still have and getting ready to sell to a friend. Lenses are 18-105mm kit, 50mm 1.8 prime and a shitty 70-300 telephoto which doesn't get much use. That said, most of the photos up on my Flickr are from using the D80. It was a great fucking camera, but when my parents suggested subsidizing me on a D7000 for Christmas and my 21st I jumped at the offer.
Dude you have no idea how much that means to me.
No problem broski. I hate never having opportunities to go out with my DSLR, the concert yesterday banned 'professional' gear and if I do just go out on a walk around my area I struggle to find an interesting subject.
I've never heard of a concert banning 'professional' gear, what type of concert was it?
It was at O2 Brixton, and it was that particular venues policy for some reason. You need to get special permission to take photos using professional gear and then they will let you go in-front of the cameras/behind stage. I think I saw Rukes there. My friend had her bridge camera held for the duration of the concert when she went last year.
one o' dem weekends Was at a con, got a mini photoshoot with this Haruhi bunny, and a lot of nice random stuff elsewise. I'll post when I get around to editing. Hopefully next weekend I'll be in another con, where I've got plans with Heza Chan, a cosplayer who is getting more and more renowned and is starting to tour internationally. It's ok to post other peoples photos here right? Since I haven't been able to take any photos recently. If so here's some of my friends photos, she took her 35mm camera with her and it didn't get confiscated: Jonathan Higgs - Everything Everything, NME Awards Tour at the O2 Academy Brixton by victoria†, on Flickr Alice Glass - Crystal Castles, NME Awards Tour at the O2 Academy Brixton by victoria†, on Flickr Alice Glass - Crystal Castles, NME Awards Tour at the O2 Academy Brixton by victoria†, on Flickr Also heres some photos I liked of CC that the lucky bunch that got in-front of the barriers took: http://www.flickr.com/photos/nickpickles/5460938637/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/loudpixels/5461632353/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/loudpixels/5462232774/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/nickpickles/5461540854/ What an awesome gig.
Was the security guard posing or just going 'dat ass'?
believe it or not, it was a statue. The Convention Center has near $1m in art installations, it's insane. I was close to asking him (from across the entrance room) if he could move out of a shot earlier that night, haha
