I was a bit bored so i went out into my backyard to snap a few shots before it started raining. Generic stuff and I'm still no good with photo editing so all i did was mild contrast changes and left it at that. Hopefully they aren't TOO boring. Tried to spice them up best i could, rule of thirds, picking somewhat interesting subjects and portraying them well, i think i did alright but I'll let you judge:

I was using PHP's str_replace like this:

str_replace("/1", "", $exif['ExposureTime']);

But it caught 1[highlight]/1[/highlight]25 as a false positive :(

Fixed now though :v:

$eexposuretime = $exif['ExposureTime'];
$eexposuretime = ("{$eexposuretime} sec");
$eexposuretime = str_replace("/1 sec", " sec", $eexposuretime);

Bokeh is basically depth of field blur and it makes lights and stuff round if they're out of focus.

if a venue has rules like that or a photog pit you cant use without a pass its not worth taking your gear anyway, unless your willing to stake out a position near the front of the crowd and not leave it all night that is (and probably get crushed in the process).

i tried to get some decent shots at a couple of warehouse project gigs last year but with there set up it wasnt worth the effort, this year i might check the listing early for gigs that interest me then get a press pass, there were so many hangers on crowding the stage at the magnetic man gig it cant be difficult
