I felt so terrible at the time, not being able to eat, speak or drink properly for a week that it didn't occur to me. Why would it be anyway? Help cooled my throat, was tasty and hardly painful compared to anything else and it slowed the gallons of saliva building up in my mouth.

I've got dust or something on my sensor... a tiny grey blurry speck on all my images. Will I damage the mirror if I wipe it with a non-abrasive cloth? I should get a little air blower thingie but I'm poor :(

Composition is all wrong, mini takes up too much of the frame etc.

1. If it's on the sensor, wiping the mirror won't do anything.

2. It it's not on the sensor, either live with it (like i do) or have it professionally cleaned. It's not worth the risk, IMO.

3. If it's on the sensor and you don't want to have it professionally cleaned, at least buy a purpose made sensor cleaning kit.

Went to Thorpe Marsh Power Station today seeing as it's only 5 miles from my grandparents, the place was wide-open and unsecured. Here are some SOOC pictures seeing as I forgot to go into RAW for my first pictures and I don't have Lightroom on this laptop. Will create a thread later if I managed to get any good pictures.

If I remember correctly the mirror is has nothing protecting the silver coating. Bathroom mirrors have glass so you can't rub off the silver, camera mirrors usually (always?) don't.

Anything on the mirror doesn't factor into the final shot unless it obstructs the af or metering system.

i had strep throat once. got it overnight on christmas eve. so bad i couldn't talk and i had to lie down while presents were being opened. there was some sort of fever that went with it too.

To be honest, kind of yeah. Whenever you post a batch there are one or two I really like, while others are too similar. For example, I think you posted the golf ball 2 or 3 times with very similar composition.

If you can, try a new locale or see how you can make the same place look more interesting or different.

The problem is that I all of the photos I post are maybe 10/100 photos I take. I love all of my photos just like how I love all of my riffs. I'll try to contain myself though.

I found that high key is much easier in snowy conditions and indoors, I'd say a powerful flash.

I post maybe 5 out of 500-600 shots. It's not as much about whether or not you love your photos more as it is self quality control. If you only post the best of your best, it's easier to evolve. This way people critique your shots, and you have a nice selection of photographs that you can use for portfolios or whatever.

Anywhere on Congress Ave.
Anywhere on 6th Street
The Greenbelt
Town Lake (including the trail)
Hippy Hollow (you might see me there..)

I would suggest the Governor's Mansion, but some fuck burned that almost to the ground 3 years ago.
If you want a good shot of the town, you can go to the top of the frost bank tower, which I think is fine if you want to go to the top floor.

I tried a few different ways to diffuse my flash

first was a failure, barely did anything
