Set your camera to commander mode but have it be manual settings and make the on camera flash fire really fast and weak so that your actual image doesn't get influenced by it. Then your Sb-600 will actually fire.

King Tut's. Epic venue, it's absolutely tiny but it was packed. The banter between the crowd and Andy was great... had him attempting Scottish accents at one point, hilarity ensued. He seemed to really enjoy it, one of the rare times when an artist says "you know... you guys are the best crowd" and I've thought they were telling the truth.

It was kind of hard to judge what exactly I was taking a picture of (it's me in the photo), as I was holding the camera in one hand and the flash in the other. I'm surprised I managed to even get the focus right to be honest as I was using a manual focus lens.

Cool shot, don. I had the idea recently to pick a really specific object, something with a lot of potential, and then every month take a few shots of that thing and pick the best for storage. I guess whether it be a car, a tree or something of that sort, just to see over the months what kind of angles I can draw out, how my abilities improved, etc. I don't know if I'll end up going ahead with it though.
