To be honest, high contrast is pretty good if done correctly.
There's supposed to be a huge wrecking ball knocking down a tower either today or tomorrow down the road from my house... I'll see if I'm home for pictures :V

Spread the light out, make it softer with umbrellas or softboxes.

I actually really like the layout on this one, with the triangle in the middle and all that.
Some generic shots form my garden, outside was nice earlier so I gave my camera a proper test. Going to start going out to take photos soon. Love this camera <3. Thumbed for nub shots

Anyone have that link for how to do HDR a while back?
ARH! I've just spent €15 on Minecraft. It's the worst thing I've ever bought. Now I'm going out to take some night shots. Hopefully there won't be any creepers. Lol. Stupid.

You got into it and then got blown up losing all your stuff? Get used to it! Minecraft is great for picking up and then dropping for ages, because when you come back to it it has quite a few new features to investigate.

One thing I really love about the Canon DSLR cameras is that they have the option to automatically take HDR photographs. It outputs 3 RAW files at -2, 0, and +2
Excuse the lopsidedness. Palsy messes with my balance and makes me completely unable to hold a camera level to the horizon. It's actually why I quit photography. It gets really noticeable sometimes. I can't take telescoped pictures without blurring them :smith:[/QUOTE]
Yeah it's called AEB, most good SLR's have it.

Put your camera on a tripod, move the flash around and take pictures with the flash covering all parts of the car. Stack the pictures in Photoshop(Set each layer to lighten then use masks to hide hotspots and stuff) There's a youtube video that explains this better but I can't find it.

went location scouting/test shooting for a model.
Ugh I'm stuck at a hotel until Saturday. Luckily next week I'll be back home then I'll post my stuff that I've taken this week.
Had an awesome day yesterday though. I drove to the Appalachian mountains north of Atlanta and the roads are completely deserted and ridiculously curvy. Best roads I've ever driven on, and having a small, fast hatchback on those roads is awesome.
