Funny story. Spent $16 on the best roll of B&W film I could buy at my LCS (125 Ilford FP4 Plus). Got home and realised my Pentax MX only has the settings close to the film speed of 100 and 200. This is going to be a fun fucking roll :(
you got ripped i paid about £3 for a roll of ilford fp4 and that was in some shitty camera shop in my town not even online. unless you already opened it why not take it back and exchange it for a roll of ilford delta

Ah, gosh, the grass patch through the trees in the upper left hand corner is a bitch.
Disappointed. I was about to take a couple portraits of some people earlier. Left my SD card in the card reader at home.

Terrible Facebook compression FTW!
I'm taking a photo a day for the rest of my life by the way, this was photo number 387.
Last roll of colour... Gonna post a couple every day or so.

Words escape me on this one. Can't wait for the full set!
Full set is 153 photos, haha.
(Out of 2034 originals)
Haha what's it like? I hear its a very automatic camera, is the lens AF?
Nope, it's manual focus. It's decent for what it is, but the shutter wheel info (a small metal plate with speeds on it) has come unglued, so it's impossible to tell what it's set to since it spins around and around
I'd shit my pants if I saw something like that walking towards me.

Goodness me! I usually take about 600-800 photos if I'm dedicating a whole day to shooting (events, etc.) and I only ever find about 15-20 shots I truly like. Self criticise man!

Quality over quantity. 10:1 is a good ratio.

Gah I'm not that brave yet. I have no idea how film development actually works, and to me it seems to risky for my uncoordinated self. All I know is that I give a roll of film and cash to the camera shop, and I get a CD with beautiful uncompressed .tifs on it.

I bought my girlfriend a roll of film and gave her a little photography lesson.
She's a lot more conservative with her shots than me.
2 weeks now and she's still got 9 frames left on a 36 roll.
It's nice though. I'm super excited to see the results.

Yup. Perth is alright if you really really look for good locations, I would love to travel to Europe and take some photo's there because it's on such a larger scale than Perth.
