Kai how did you manage to focus in on those small branches so accurately? Problem I have with those shots.

B, I think a vertical shot would have suited the former much better especially considering how the bokeh looks bad and distracting. Second one is nice!

I got my umbrella and cowboy studio gear so I could take the camera off flash, shot into an umbrella reflecting back on me. Excuse my posing, I'm not terrible good at it and feeling rather shite lately.

Commented that HDR rape with my 2 cents... felt kinda bad for the guy, but this style has become so gimmicky now, it's so easy and people with know photography knowledge are blown away, even though it's completely overrated.

It was just a quick shot while my ex (well before she was my ex, obviously) was walking by. I'll post more shots from that day if you guys want more shots like this. It seems kinda odd because I had to take the something-or-other tool to select around her, change the levels of the sky, then I had to dodge her face quite a bit. It shows, and I don't really like it all too much, but it kinda adds an old film quality to it. I might do some more work on the face, so if the image changes I'll note it in an edit.

Im not sure how I do it either. I guess I just try to make the most of my kit lens for one. I also try to get the angle right and I make sure to stand back and zoom in a lot.

All to often you're running around, constantly having to change your position to get the angles you want. And then sometimes the subjects just seem to align in front of you.

This shot is absolutely perfect composition wise, I think you could bring the colours out a bit more in Lightroom though.
