Started snowing tonight, in Nireland that's a sign of the acocolypse so I thought might as well snap a few shots and bring my speedlight to illuminate and freeze the snow. The cowboystudio kit I got to enable off camera flash didn't work so well, at one point 20cm away and it stops working so I had to shoot right from behind after getting a few far shots. Odd it works better in doors. Guess I've just been so caught up in my habits I had gotten too 'subtle'. What seemed like huge changes were probably small ones. I'm just afraid the new style is too strong, or too 'hipstery'. I don't want it to look I'm firing up picnik or something. This is fun, I like making progress.
