Technically speaking, every particle in your body exists as a wave of probability, which can very well travel through matter as per quantum tunneling. Stating that can make this happen through the power of the mind is hooey though.
Theoretically, it's not impossible but you sure as hell can't do it through mind power. I read a book on the notion of teleportation a while ago, I should go read it again.
your totally stupid for thinking this is remotely possible
I can transport my dick into your rectum at the speed of light.
Tell him to prove it by walking through a moving school bus.
You should physically displace the matter that makes up your hand into his face, then say "THAT'S SCIENCE. BITCH."
Just cut a hole in the wall and walk through it one day, and look at his expression as you say: "Look, I just displaced this wall with my mind [and a few power tools]"
If the wall was light enough, yeah you could. Paper, for example.
So there's a kid at my school who used "logic" and "physics" to prove that he can mentally displace his atoms far enough apart to walk through a wall. Does this sound remotely possible (The displacement part) or is he totally stupid?
Oh no, he's telling the truth. Do you seriously not know?
The noclip command?
Easy.
I remember having a similar discussion ages ago with some idiot who claimed he saw a girl get hit by a car but lagged so it clipped through her and she walked away whilst the car was "badly" damaged... it was dumb enough for me to whip out photoshop. I think in one of our class discussions we ended that "it is improbable, not impossible." So, if you walked against a wall for an infinite amount of time, you'd reach a higher probability of walking through a wall. Tell him to walk against a wall the rest of his life and nothing else and see what happens.

I can walk through walls.
This thread is gold
You can do it too, kids! Fool your friends! Trick your enemies!
Tell him to punch a wall as hard as he can (you have to watch) If he breaks his hand, he's full of shit
I normally type in noclip into my life console. I don't know what shit this kid is talking about.
This is scientifically possible, the problem is that it utilizes a process called Quantum Tunneling (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_tunnelling) which is the same process used all the time for electrons to bridge the gap over seemingly insurmountable semiconductors. I say this is a problem because it would require every single atom in your body to utilize this quantum tunneling effect at the same time over a very long distance (quantumly speaking). The odds of this happening are almost infinitesimally small, but it is possible. So, given a seemingly infinite amount of time you could eventually do it, but im talking more time than any human can rationally comprehend - definitely not within the lifetime of a human being, or even our solar system (probably not even within the lifetime of our universe). More on it here: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Can_a_human_walk_through_a_solid_wall Congrats to all the people in this thread claiming it isn't possible without bothering to do any research.

If he could, he'd be snatched up by every military force in the world...
LOGIC and PHYSICS. I'd trust that kid, because he surely knows how science works.
Logic is the answer.
FacePunch being mostly immature and even more than mostly materialistic, certainly isn't a good place to ask about things like this. So to sum it up: :frog:

A test I made to test this. [img_thumb]http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/4461/walkthroughwalls.jpg[/img_thumb] Click it.
