I sensor swabbed mine when I had a big piece of dust on there that wouldn't come off with air. But apart from that I doubt I'll touch it again.

I've heard decent things about that, it has good geometry. Also, those gumwalls actually look really nice. Leave em. my intention wasnt to be multicoloured, the brown was to match the seat and handlebars and the white to go with the blue, but you might be right im quite bad with colours going together.

That's not the only method, most vibrate the sensor at an extreme rate and shake the dust off.

Yeah I just cleaned the sensor about 5 mins ago. I'm pretty new to photography and had no real idea how to do it, Not that I've got a lens to test out if I've actually got rid of the dust I've got to wait till I can afford my 50mm 1.8

Tried making a makeshift diffuser with some toilet paper tell me which you think is better. They both have the same edits:
Flash no diffuse:

shadow seems just as harsh diffused, minus a little feathering. (look under guitar). Hold your tissuser farther out so a larger area of it gets hit with the initial flash.

I'm pretty sure something moves when it's doing it. Listen closely and you can hear a clicking noise.

pretty sure automatic sensor cleaning vibrates the bit of glass just in front of the sensor at high frequency to shake the dust off.
