So I got my DSLR, a Nikon D3100 and I figured I'd upload some photos from my last batch of Powershot G10 shots before I moved on to the d3100.
Anyway, I'm really starting to enjoy photography a lot. I'm trying to just do a lot of simple stuff while I get the hang of some composition - not aim too high, just get it to a basic level first and then start to develop. I think I'm getting a feel for something a little more experimental, though I really want to get out there and just do some street photography and I'm really into portraits.
Anyway none of this is really interesting but I figured I'd post it anyway. CC always welcome.

As said I'm not trying for anything great here and I'm not too big a fan of them myself, still trying to master using a camera. I really want to just spend a day taking photos but I still haven't had the time to do that yet :(.

I've decided I need to stop making excuses about there being no good landscapes near me, after seeing amazing photos captured in Richmond Park on Flickr and many people saying that it is their dream area.
