Damn, nevermind that rainbow panorama. I must've fucked up taking the pictures. I can't get them aligned in a good way so it was all a waste :frown:

Both seem a tad little underexposed.
Framing's nice though.
I like in the second one how the lower part of the tree canopy lines up with the grass-line.
Just corrected the exposure, better?

Sure, send the camera first.

Love the colours in this one!
Dubba-Wainbow (you can see the second one coming up above it, this is an early shot)

Looks a bit noisy, also you could probably bring out the colours and second rainbow more with a little editing.

ISO 200 is a bitch.
You were shooting at 1/640, so you could have just used a lower shutter speed at ISO 100?
Don't you shoot in RAW, I can get rid of noise easily in Lightroom.
At least you got the photo, but you also could have also stopped it down to f/8 or something.

All I had time for today. Feel like it's shit compared to the rest of the page, and the page ain't even big :v:

Remember, I took this with a D40. It has an insanely slow shuttertime, it's lowest ISO is 200. So if I would've put it at f/8 it would've gotten dark as night and I'd probably need a tripod which I didn't have with me.
And I don't have a good photo-editing program yet, so I rarely shoot in RAW.

this last one is one of my personal favorites
C&C please, or I will cry on the inside for about 2 seconds.

No but seriously for C&C try focusing on showing the riders in their entirety. As H4Z3Y said in the China thread, "The subjects are being isolated and are being removed from context, which has a disorientating effect on the viewer."
I really like the last one.

ok, thanks. I try to focus, but its as fast as the camera will allow. (fast shutter speed and AF and all)
I didn't know somebody said that. did someone say that about one of my pictures?
also lol for the crop.
Poor choice of words on my part, I meant 'focus' as in 'make it a point' to try to show the whole rider, and not just abstract close ups. Basically, back up a bit.
Also, this is what I'm quoting.

ok, gotcha. I think for stuff like up close BMX stuff, I need a wider angle lens.
also, could you point out some good lens makers for nikon cameras? I need some PROTIP help. :buddy:
Well you managed to pull it off in the third shot.
