For a second I thought it was a test strip
is that a pack of geese, or is it the same goose spliced together from a few photos?
Pack of geese. I missed the same pack flying over-head while I was trying to repair my bike, would have been an amazing shot :smith: You can make out the heads of a second pack of about five of them coming my way in the background near the grass.

They run towards you with there beaks open making a cracked out hissing sound, even at cyclists. Don't dare make eye contact when their babies are around.

Since you guys seem to like them heres another bunch of geese shots. The one where the all seem to be in a line is pretty damn cool.

This pic is from today. I was on a 10 hour session with 4 cars today. I'll post more later
potatoes
Don't want to be harsh but you really need to take pictures of things other than your friends with shallow DoF while chilling. You live in Scotland for fucks sake, you could to great street photog and landscapes, yet I have never seen you produce much of either. The bike one is cool but the composition does feel a little weird.
Cueball, the key is to shift your thinking from the mechanics to actual content. You've learned how to work a camera, now use that to express your vision.
[editline]21st May 2011[/editline] Whenever I take a photo, I look at the subject or scene and think "is this interesting?" If it isn't, I don't post it. Like in this example, I thought the mushrooms were pretty neat.
Saw many monstrous mushrooms.
I know what you guys mean. I have plenty of other photographs of my friends - many of which I'm sure you'd recognise - that I don't post here. It's just the ones that I think that offer some sort of subjective meaning that I post. Ones that could be interpreted in a particular way. That's not to say that all of the images I post don't actually reflect what was happening when I took the photo, but I think it's important with any self expression that the viewer gets to interpret the image in the way that they want. That's the beauty of something like photography, music, art etc. - there are so many tastes and opinions that there's bound to be someone who appreciates your work (whether or not it is in the same way that you do).

Can I ask what kind of PP do you do on the last two - they are mindblowing!
Can I ask what kind of PP do you do on the last two - they are mindblowing!
Thank you Funny. It was too green, so a bit of colour balance and some levels in photoshop.
I love the third one!
I'm starting to question the need for fast lenses. Took club photos tonight, could've been better but I was trying streaking for the first time. I loved this one because there's so much going on: Then some others:
First I took a random test shot of this lighter, looked kinda cool so I kept it Lighter by Druid51, on Flickr and... tonight there was this moth, I killed it and it fell on the ground. So what did I do? Take photos of course!
