How do people take photos where it has like scene like city or river, and clouds - but clouds are like motion blured but the rest of scene is normal. Is it slow shutter speeds or what type of other shit? How is it done?
slow shutter speed, yeah. If the city has people and cars that aren't motion blurred, then they did a composite of two different shots, or the clouds were just naturally streaky.

ANother tip is to invest in a ND filter, they block out the amount of light in an exposure, allowing you to have much longer exposures during daylight.

If you're going to bring it I would refrain from taking pictures all times except after the service. If someone asks you why you have a camera make sure you explain what exactly you're trying to capture (I'm sure you can answer this).

yeah, it probably would. i was trying to get the exposure right with the flash, so I started with 1/200 ISO 100 and then I slowly dialed down the aperture until i wasn't blowing the highlights on the wall to the left. The smarter thing to do would be to wind down the flash instead of the aperture, but I was too lazy to walk over to it and it was quicker in camera :v:

I put my hand across the bottom of the image to see it without the wire fence and truck, I think it looks nice then. You can't see how tall the building is then.
