Yeah it wasn't an attack on Romania or anything like that, it's just the stories I've heard about stuff that happens there were pretty sad.

I've been needing a hobby for a while now and since I know a lot of people that post here and read this thread constantly so thought I'd try my hand at photography.

This is my very first attempt at trying to be as awesome as many of you, taken with a digital camera (not going to potentially waste money till I know whether I can actually do well or not!) so don't knock me for that! I've quickly fiddled with this is Lightroom but didn't have much of a clue :L So give me tons of constructive criticism, cheers guys!

It's OK but it's slightly under-exposed and the composition is a bit weird (lines going everywhere, tilted, random stuff in corners). You could also find a more interesting subject than still life and flowers, etc. Generally most things you could take photos of in your house are a bit boring.

Yeah the subject was more of a "Can be bothered to get dressed, nah I'll wait till tomorrow", getting up early-ish tomorrow to go out and find some interesting subjects

Hey everyone.
I´m in Lima now. It´s fucking awesome.
Staying in a great hostel at the moment - was smoking a joint within 30 minutes of arriving (not to say that that´s how I judge how good a hostel is, but it´s a good indicator of the mindset of the people here). Great rooftop bar, good view, 10 minutes walk from the ocean and free internet and pc´s!

I´ve got some really nice shots so far. I might post one tomorrow at some point.
2 more days until I´m in Iquitos, and then off to the Amazon.
Can´t fucking wait.
