I really like the 2nd and 3rd shots, very real and unstaged(are they?). First pic is alright, pretty simple though
No, unfortunately, it's good to hear my acting and posture are passable though, I'm glad you like them. I'd be worried for the camera man if it wasn't, he's not in very good cover in either of those shots. Also, I suppose the first would only be good to me. That wheelbarrow has been sitting there all by itself for years, and I just thought it captured the emotion I associate it with, because I think it's such a cute little thing. I'm weird like that I guess. [editline]7th June 2011[/editline]
but first let me check if someone commented on my photo in the thread yet
A little sad, but oh oh oh so true.

These aren't really artistic, as I was more focused on just getting it all to work. We shot glow sticks out of an air cannon. The first time we hit the wall, we didn't have a camera. It exploded and left an arching shower of glow mist across the driveway and into the street. Decided maybe some long exposures would be cool and quickly grabbed my camera. The cannon itself, the glow sticks fit perfectly in the 1/2" barrel, fired at 120psi. The first shot was okay, the glow stick exploded leaving a nice shower of glow juice streaks. Looks like a laser cutter or something. 5D2 - 50 1.4 - IS0 6400 - 2 sec Decided I could prolly get a more interesting angle from the side, instead of straight on. The shots kept missing. 5D2 - 50 1.4 - IS0 6400 - 2 sec Finally hit the wall again, but it didn't explode like the first time, at which point we gave up. You guessed it, 5D2 - 50 1.4 - IS0 6400 - 2 sec It was pretty fun, I just really wish I could have gotten something like our first shot on camera. It was pretty cool to see a glowing cloud.

thats not an af-s nikkor
thats not an af-s nikkor
That lens was only there because the professor was demonstrating it, the download happens later, hence the "soon" box, and is probably after the technology has been further developed. I am examining this a bit too much ain't I?
yes
thats not an af-s nikkor
I just picked a nice looking lens.

in the first one the vignetting doesn't look all that great in the top left corner, seems because the sky was overexposed the one with the traffic light is awesome!

2 and 3 are gorgeous. I wish the tops of trees in two weren't frustratingly slightly out of frame, but, lovely use of B&W.
got a roll back today. cost me $15.25. I had $13 in ones on me, and $2.50 in my paypal, so I just barely pulled it off.
in the first one the vignetting doesn't look all that great in the top left corner, seems because the sky was overexposed the one with the traffic light is awesome!
I've never got the whole 'problem' with vignetting, it seems fine to me. If it's a good shot, it's a good shot, it always seems a bit pedantic to me when a photo is criticized only for it's vignetting. Anyway..
2 and 3 are gorgeous. I wish the tops of trees in two weren't frustratingly slightly out of frame, but, lovely use of B&W.
I agree with this, in the B&W shot either shoot slightly lower or crop so the trees are cut off further down, or have the whole tree in the frame. I think it's a really nice shot though.

That I like it.
the place the mythbusters go for supplies.
That makes it even better.
I have question. I am sure more than 90% of people who view this thread will know: Can I use 2 Polarized filters to block absolutely all reflections? or will some weird thing happen if I use 2 at the same time?
