To urbex or not to urbex, that is the question? I'm a bit hesitant to try it, even though its been explored before.
Do it. Its ridiculously fun if you are careful and cautious about it. I posted a set from a while back when I went exploring an abandoned naval base a while back, Check it out I went out driving around/exploring today and I found an old abandoned house, plus some other misc shots. here are a few: Abandonment by millerroberts, on Flickr Simplicity by millerroberts, on Flickr (Havent ever really done anything in B&W before. The feeling when you capture the perfect thunder bolt, is the best feeling ever. Like when I took this

And it worked that one time I took that picture. Also, I'm gonna finnish my timelapse montage today by capturing the sunrise.

horribly blue and generic hdr rape
I quite like it as far as hdr's go.
I really like it.
horribly blue and generic hdr rape
I'm sorry, but calling other peoples photos crap aren't actually going to make your own photos better. I'm not trying to be mean here, it's just how it is. If you want to get better, you need to stop being lazy, go out, take photos, and don't expect everyone to love them instantly. I quite like his photo actually, it's nowhere near HDR-raped.
I like the picture [editline]9th June 2011[/editline]
horribly blue and generic hdr rape
Generic
It's fine i linked to flickr, it's mine anyways
Not generic
HDR by Tor Martin Dyrøy, on Flickr Thoughts?
It's tasteful, I think. The photograph only uses elements of HDR to add to the scene, not make HDR a spectacle. Nicely done.
never thought that it would would so don't accuse me of that
Ok then. Still though, pay attention to the constructive criticism you get (both from me and others). [editline]9th June 2011[/editline] Also I went through some film shots again and kinda liked the light on this one, I dunno:
Looks like the kind of shot Cueball would take :v: I quite like it though.
Looks like the kind of shot Cueball would take :v: I quite like it though.
I didn't actually mean to take it, my Pentax was on the L mode (for lock), but I accidentally hit the shutter button and did it a bit too hard, and it snapped out of the L mode and took a picture... [editline]9th June 2011[/editline] But the light was kinda cool so yeah. [editline]9th June 2011[/editline] And stop mocking cueball, keep it to constructive criticism, then we can all be friends :buddy:
ill break your toes then your legs [editline]9th June 2011[/editline] with my 'ammer
horribly blue and generic hdr rape
I was hoping the blue would be countered with the green, apparently, I did not get that effect with you  Thanks guys, appreciate the CC :D
Talking about HDR, i do have a HDR shot i very much liked. It's in B&W because the building itself has almost no nice colours or so, but it still was a HDR picture. Dunno if it matters i took it 2 months ago though ;) Anyway, here it is: HDR - Willemswerf Building at De Boompjes in Rotterdam by Leevmeister, on Flickr Ok, to catch up with this before some people calling this a snapshot: I took quite long to make and edit this photo, and in my vision this picture ended up very well.
Dem lines.
Yeah looking at the lines in this picture is very hard to define them, but that's the feature of this building ;) By the way, the finale fight scene in the movie Who am I by jackie chan was filmed on the roof of this building. At the end you see Jackie running from that huge slide of windows you see on this picture :)
