It has potential IMO, but the front napkin is kinda distracting.

Late edit:
Alright it's 4 Am here now, and I set up the timelapse rig. The camera is going to take 1150 pictures with a 3 second interval. Now I just wait and see.

I haven't posted anything in a LONG time. So here's a very generic picture of my piano. Enjoy!
[editline]10th June 2011[/editline]
Shot it with no light in the room. Only light was my pop up flash. Win!
I had just been playing with the google guitar for about 10 minutes and I honestly tried to click on the keys because I assumed it was playable.

It is. It has a range of 10 notes and you can play it with your qwertyuiop keys. 'Q' being the lowest note and 'P' being the highest. You just gotta get the ear for it.
[editline]10th June 2011[/editline]
The lowest note is a low G sound and the highest is a B.
It's sorta like a 10 note scale I should say.

could you crop it just a TINY bit more to cut off the two black keys on both ends?
Alright, my cloud montage is ready. It's all looking pretty good, but all I need now is "ideas". Should I start with the sunrise timelapse, or end with it? What song should I use? (preferably something without lyrics) something that sounds kinda like Ulrich Schnauss/ Boards of Canada/ Jon Hopkins. Either post here if you want to or PM me, any tips are helpful and appreciated.

Should it be rotated a little bit?
[QUOTE=daijitsu;30365158]whoa, what's up with the colors there[/QUOTE]
Not sure if that's a good whoa or a bad whoa, but I overlayed another image over it and added the (color I think it was) layer property. I was a bit pleased with the results.

I like it, nice colour tones but you've cut a bit of the flag off!

To be honest I think I sense a little bit of graininess in the image.
and grain can never look good ever and is always going to be bad for photos?

Yeah I noticed that, gotta photoshop it away soon.

Well that could be very true, I only got a Canon 1000D
Grain can be lovely in photos.

Maybe not the best examples, but eh...
Film grain is usually alright-lookin.
not super creative, but I got an extremely good macro setup, minus the fact that the focus range is less than a centimeter lol.
Here's a picture of the aperture of one of my lenses, if have any ideas of stuff that is super cool close up let me know!

Take note, don't degrade your framing with the thought of relying on editing it!

As a film user I agree, film grain is nice, but Hazeys example is not doing it for me, I don't like it at all ( not to mention he's a big jerk butt anyway). Yours are good, I love it in the first and although it doesn't really add all to much to the second, I think they're fine examples of tolerable grain. To be honest I'm not saying it's a huge deal, it's still a good photo, the color and composition/framing are excellent, I'm just telling Chamon that I think it's a bit grainy. That isn't necessarily a huge issue.
