I've only uploaded three shots in the last two months, been focusing more on my guitar playing. I think now that I have more time I'll be posting more in the thread as well as taking more shots. Here's my favorite out of the last three: [url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/ourspeluche/5822330859/][img]http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3517/5822330859_11e50ebb45.jpg[/img][/url] [url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/ourspeluche/5822330859/]Rain Flower[/url] by [url=http://www.flickr.com/people/ourspeluche/]tomshandruk[/url], on Flickr

aka HQ upload?
[QUOTE=Fenriswolf;30436883]aka HQ upload?[/QUOTE] I haven't heard of this, what is it? my idea was a workaround the normal upload but HQ upload is much better I don't see why facebook can't use flickr's compression algorithm for their photos, it's the best on the market and it's not like facebook can't afford server space [editline]13th June 2011[/editline] I suppose you could just oversharpen the photo a bit and rely on facebook to undo that a little and arrive closer to the original image
Bengley, I fucking love Kyle of Lochalsh, I've been going on family hollidays to Glenelg (which is just over the hill) since I was baby... Glenelg is where you get the ferry to Skye. I had a shot driving that thing once :smug:

It's pretty regardless. :buddy:
pretty sure facebook just jpegs everything with a low quality setting, which means you can't really get around it other than with hq uploading

[QUOTE=B-hazard;30433238]If you're talking about asbestos you would not feel the effect of it :v: Where did you go?[/QUOTE] :v: What are the doctors saying about you now? you said in chat you learned the hard way. Nestle Factory that was shut down 10 years ago in Omagh, made powdered milk for Saudi Arabia. Maybe make a thread if enough images are interesting? I wore a PP3 mask or something 3, didn't touch or disturb stuff and while some say wearing just a mask is pointless and you may as well wear nothing for asbestos, bird/rat shit can be pretty nasty too!
The artistic basketball [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/nqFTQ.jpg[/img_thumb] Sorry if it's to big. Could someone get me a link to the BBcode? It's been a while since I've used it.
Ya duckarse, you cut the top and a bit of the bottom of the artistic basketball out! :v:

Spent the whole day getting city shots with the rest of my black and white film, it was a lot of fun. I even found an awesome new coffee place. Hopefully, they get my pictures developed tomorrow so I can see how they turned out.

Feeling a bit iffy on this. I can generally sense when I have an immediately good looking shot (which is getting rarer and rarer :sigh:), but I'm on the fence here. [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Orlbo9WkZ2E][img]http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2772/5831118813_2174db46d4.jpg[/img][/url] [editline]14th June 2011[/editline] I have another that I feel the same about. Leaning more towards a [img]http://i.imgur.com/FNfPU.png[/img] though. I know off the bat, the bit of concrete at the bottom is killing it. [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdS57PXvhe0][img]http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3283/5831212165_91e3787e31.jpg[/img][/url] I just can't seem to 'get it' right now.
I'm feeling like something's off here too... maybe she should have been positioned off to the side or something? For some reason when I look at the shot my eyes feel like they're drawn towards the houses in the background instead of the subject, it's really weird. Maybe I need sleep. Also what the flying fuck is up with the link!
[QUOTE=magicman1234;30394180][IMG]http://i.imgur.com/r6UcZ.jpg[/IMG] Took a macro shot of my dog, a little grainy though.[/QUOTE] do you like this close-up of my girlfriend's cat [img]http://gyazo.com/f4eca78b3ebe5baba1c838c934dbd52d.png[/img] full set and more coming to dai's photoworks thread!!
I wish I could afford a 17-50 f/2.8 of 30 f1.4, the horrible chromatic aberration, lens flare and general un-sharpness of my older version kit lens is ruining loads of my photos.

Well I've never used the midnight sun here in Norway to my advantage before, so I went outside at 1 AM & snapped this; [img]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1467131/IMPROVIE.jpg[/img] I feel it was a success. No elements within the image were edited, merely the contrast and sharpness.
Wow 1/50 at f/6.3 & ISO 800. :golfclap:
it's sunrise right now and about that bright, same pinkish hue and everything. I can't imagine this at 1 am but I think it'd give me an excuse for my horrid sleep schedule :buddy:
[QUOTE=bopie;30446407]Wow 1/50 at f/6.3 & ISO 800.[/QUOTE] :tiphat: Viewing my own Exif data made me realize my camera's date & time is a month off. Maybe I should fix that? Nah.
yeah I was curious about the exif time. I was too lazy to look up time zones and figured I could just see how long ago the shot was taken for some comparison :v:
