Off to China in the morning. I'll see you guys in 2 and a half weeks.
I want a minimum of 15 good shots, no exceptions!
I want a minimum of 15 good shots, no exceptions!
Okay. So that's 15 good shots and a picture of the oldest lady I can find for my friend. This will be awesome. [editline]24th June 2011[/editline]
Have fun, bro.
Thanks!

I do that a lot, and it really helps to have the subject in 100% clear view. The first picture is a little flat, but not bad for a start.
Not to seem needy but I just want to know if its worth me trying to sneak in my camera
I have a quick question, I'm doing some work for a small business, and they said that they would provide everything, so I agreed. They provided me with an old Nikon D200 and some lighting equipment. But since I'm fairly new to photography and I chose Canon as my brand of choice. I was wondering if I could use my camera, 1000D, instead of the D200, and still trigger the flash lamps? List of facts: D200 triggers can trigger the two flash lamps wirelessly (with built in flash) I own a 1000D (should have waited 2ti price dropped a few weeks later) The flash lamps seem old, I forgot to get the brand and model name I'm sorry.
Hey, I've been lurking this thread and being an amateur photographer, but I just got a new camera and decided to test it out, and I guess I'll post the picture here. It's a walkway lamp thing, I'm thinking of lighting it and trying to take a picture with it like that...
Okay I always hear you guys complaining about my criticism so please be just as harsh with me. Some of these might be over the top, and my only excuse is I don't know doodle-doo about PP in Lightroom :ssh: El hombre detrás del trono por sirwilbertthadeus, en Flickr Demonic Hobo por sirwilbertthadeus, en Flickr Dramatic architecture por sirwilbertthadeus, en Flickr El emperador de las rosas por sirwilbertthadeus, en Flickr Zealot por sirwilbertthadeus, en Flickr Zealot por sirwilbertthadeus, en Flickr This motherfucker just couldn't stay still, these two are the best I got from him :argh: Over the top? por sirwilbertthadeus, en Flickr I specially feel this might be a little over the top. I know I don't post here as much as I used to, but every time I open this thread, my heart warms up. Love you guys.
Did some car shots for my friend. I don't usually do car shoots, this was like my first fun one and where I took sometime. License plate removed with Photoshop... not the best with that so it might be noticeable :( Tuscani by Druid51, on Flickr Tuscani by Druid51, on Flickr Tuscani by Druid51, on Flickr Also some messing around :P GOD OF FIRE by Druid51, on Flickr

License plate removed with Photoshop... not the best with that so it might be noticeable :(
The first one the license plate removal is surprisingly good, the second the lighting is perfect to hide where you removed it, and the third, the removal spot is too soft, but still better than just censoring it. Also, I think the last two of the car, it would look better with the wheel turned inwards, I think it would be a little more dynamic feeling. But- they do look really good.
First time using a friend's DSLR (I think it was a Rebel...), and went to a mini golf course with my family. Oh well.
Linked because my scanner scanned it HUGE. I took this when I was 4, just found it the other day. I really like it. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7953104/a%20leg.png
Or maybe just tell me if you found the street subjects interesting enough.
I thought they were pretty nice shots. Nothing awe-inspiring, but pretty good. I did love 'demonic hobo', though.

Oh cool, I thought it was like music production or something... were you just recording music for fun? It's just 'cause I'm an animator/film maker and we're looking for somebody to score our film.

I don't know.. I'm conflicted. The blurring of the foliage is because of wind, and long exposures (10, 20, 30 seconds)
