Going to an art fair here in Brazil on Sunday. This thing is so massive it occupies multiple city blocks in length. Supposedly it's ridiculously crowded so I'm just gonna be packing my camera on me. No way in hell am I taking a bag.

You can throw fireworks in with flowers and sunsets.

That was the most stupid sentence I've ever read in this thread
an opinion is not a fact. DeviantArt may not be better for photography than flickr, but then again people say the same about macs and gaming. Macs can play games, just not as well as windows, but there are certain compromises you have to make to own a mac.

the picture doesn't show the motion of the car, prehaps next time a longer exposure and follow the car with the camera, so the car isn't blurry but the background is.

Sigma 10-20mm and a 50mm f/1.4
All I ever use.
Any cheaper wide angles? The 50mm is for low light, the L is for motorsport etc and a wide angle would be good for landscape I suppose.
f/4 will disappoint you, especially for shooting cars. You can find the first version of the 70-200 2.8 (non-IS) for about a thousand dollars these days. Or you could get the 200 2.8 prime lens for about $750.
