Yeah. Recoil aint a problem. It's recoilless.
I feel like having all that hot gas being expelled out the back onto the fabric could cause problems
The rear is aimed higher than the wing, so there's no problems unless you angle it upwards enough for the backblast to hit the wing. I'm sure they'd know not to do that. Actually, looking at how that thing is supposed to work:
His design connected two guns back to back, with the backwards-facing gun loaded with lead balls and grease of the same weight as the shell in the other gun, acting as a counter.
So the backblast on that thing is actually way worse than just hot gases, it's basically shooting in both directions at once.

It's just dual-purpose, hit a ship and a plane at the same time.
Literally a door hinge for a folding rifle.
Wonder how low you had to fly to have any hopes of accuracy.
It's effective. The only problem though was that by the end of 1916, it was considered near suicidal to actually try that sort of attack. They started slowly going from dropping bombs from those aircraft to shutting off engines at night and doing gunruns on MG nest.

Does it shoot it any differently? I remember some change made, I think something with the barrel, that made it shoot above 1 MOA.
Reminds me of that idiot that chopped up his SVD-K.
According to the post the barrel and receiver have been thickened which I guess would affect accuracy a bit? I'm not sure how this stuff works
Why does it have to shoot 1moa? i mean its not a sniper weapon right? its a marksman rifle.
looks like something you'll see a gangsta using
lmao firing it sideways "Gangsta style" to "shoot more accurately" It looks neat but i think it is a bit too cumbersome compared to other machine pistols.
lmao firing it sideways "Gangsta style" to "shoot more accurately" It looks neat but i think it is a bit too cumbersome compared to other machine pistols.
Well it ain't a machine-pistol, just a regular semi-auto.
PLEASE NOooooooo
[t]http://i.imgur.com/Hvo40EX.png[/t] ;)
Well it ain't a machine-pistol, just a regular semi-auto.
I was talking about the variation with alternative firing modes.
*ohgodfuckingno* ;)
That's awful, poor gun.
THE HORROR
That shits NSFW man
I'd say that's a pretty good post for halloween, I'm definitely suitably horrified
carlson confirmed for ian
Well it ain't a machine-pistol, just a regular semi-auto.
isn't 35 rounds on a sem-auto pistol a bit overkill? i mean what can you possibly shoot at that isn't dead or destroyed after the first 15, and how long would it take to empty that thing
isn't 35 rounds on a sem-auto pistol a bit overkill? i mean what can you possibly shoot at that isn't dead or destroyed after the first 15, and how long would it take to empty that thing
Competitive sports would like to have a word with you.
This is not on his youtube account, inrange tv or his personal blog, where did you find that. Are you Ian?
Don't you know he has two channels on full30? One for InRange and one for Forgotten Weapons. He always releases his videos a day earlier on full30 than on youtube.
Competitive sports would like to have a word with you.
ok that is true, but don't they usually have limits on magazine sizes

I would have an intimate relationship with this gun. Edit:
ok that is true, but don't they usually have limits on magazine sizes
not back in the early 1900's ya dope.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/Hvo40EX.png[/t] ;)
What exactly is going on here?
Uneducated liberals cutting up scary babykilling assault guns that are worth an absurd amount of money and inadvertantly committing felonies in the process.
