huh, i thought those were a myth because squads also carried a 20 lb jammer than ran off of like a hundred D-cells

So it launches the baseball bat at the drone? :v:

This is a more recent picture. It's mean for jamming ISIS drones rather than IEDs. Probably a lot more power efficient than the other kind of jammer since it's not constantly projecting a jamming "bubble"
ISIS has been using consumer grade quad copter drones for aerial recon/artillery spotting/filming their propaganda videos of their attacks. There have also been a few cases where they've attached explosives to them to use them in kamikaze-style attacks.

Also I think this might be a slightly older version of that AD Rifle

Same goes for the kulspruta 58 (LMG), bullet squirter 58.
Today was the day the Korean war ceasefire was signed:

Anyone still got that picture of the shortened AK with the bullet poking out of the barrel? I can't find it
Anyone still got that picture of the shortened AK with the bullet poking out of the barrel? I can't find it
Fairly sure it was a G3, but no, I don't have the pic.

And what exactly would be the point of making a rotary autogun into a semi-auto when the whole point of the design is rapid automatic fire? Why not just have normal rifle if you want it semi.
Because the ATF doesn't like fun, and the cost to have an automatic is fairly expensive.
Because the ATF doesn't like fun, and the cost to have an automatic is fairly expensive.
So you'd want an absolute gimmick of a thing that would probably cost you thrice the cost of a normal rifle? I guess you can always dream :v:
We could always just add a handcrank to it, but then it'd just be a over glorified Gatling.
its always amazing how much is lost fighting pointlessly on the last declared day of a war
Technically, the Korean War is ongoing. The South and the North just agreed to a temporary ceasefire, which has kept going for decades because neither side wants to commit to a full on invasion.

Rare M16A4 with a collapsible stock
I'm doubtful that it's rare. All it takes is a sympathetic armourer to put one one.
Full-length AR's with telescopic stocks gets my telescopic stock at full length. The addition of a M203 on it only makes it better.

The reverse is also true.

SDF are a Kurdish-led coalition of non-FSA, moderate rebel groups. Generally they're regarded to be far less barbaric. They receive support from both NATO and Russia.

It appears that the gun stabilizer was either turned off or broken on Zimbabwe's tank during this year's Russian-hosted tank biathlon
