And the smart detonation system isn't smart at all. It's just point-detonation fuse. :v:
well it IS 100+ years old by the time of NV and repaired by a bunch of boom boom guys and or quasi feudal military fanatics
Are there any weapon designs inspired by art movements? Specifically brutalist. Feels like that stuff would belong here.
Are there any weapon designs inspired by art movements? Specifically brutalist.
Are there any weapon designs inspired by art movements? Specifically brutalist. Feels like that stuff would belong here.
A brutalist inspired gun? So, what, a concrete brick that bullets come out of?

Б Т Р Something about the BTR-70/80 makes me love it, ignoring the retarded doors. Something about a Zerg rush of Soviet combined arms and hinds give me a hard on. And the whole fantasy of red alert and world in conflict helps the image as well
I didn't know Kalash and Glock did a collab
Gaston Glock is interesting. He looks like a freaking superstar considering his name is fucking Gaston Glock and his wife looks like this Here's Mikhail Kalashnikov(left, invented AK47) and Eugene Stoner(right, invented M16) holding everyone's favourite Counter-Strike sticks The photo is from the 90's idk why its black and white (there's a Russian flag in the background)
The photo is from the 90's idk why its black and white (there's a Russian flag in the background)
Looks like it's scanned from a newspaper, which in the 90's would print most of the contents in B&W.

The brutalist gun experience.
I know UK you are legally allowed to drive a tank. Can you do it in the US? A dream will be going to the drive through in a tank
Pretty sure you can as long as its gun doesn't work.
Pretty sure you can as long as its gun doesn't work.
Doesn't work is probably a little lightly put, some deactivation specifications can get fairly strict.

Lol
IIRC you just have to get a steel block welded into the gun breeches, a hole cut in the barrel and a certain percentage of the armour plating removed for it to be considered demilitarised
With the new Deus Ex game coming out soon, I've been thinking about the "Combat Rifle" from it, a gun called the FR-27 Sanction. It's a strange design in terms of function, since it loads a sort of mix between an en-bloc clip and a traditional box magazine into an internal loading port that then is rotated into a firing position as the weapon closes up and is cocked in a single motion. [t]http://i.imgur.com/6ej0qzz.jpg[/t] On top of all that, it fires .303 fin-stabilized, discarding-sabot flechettes, making it one of the few fictional "realistic" guns to utilize flechette darts over traditional bullets for an automatic rifle.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/6ej0qzz.jpg[/t]
Am I the only who thinks it would look better if it had a magazine?
I love how the gun reloads though, even if it's impractical
Am I the only who thinks it would look better if it had a magazine?
It does technically, inside the weapon near the rotary charging handle. [t]http://i.imgur.com/VOmtwno.jpg[/t] I don't disagree though that a traditional-magazine-fed version would look somewhat better, but the mechanism is meant to work around the unique ammo the weapon utilizes as well. On another note, I'd be curious as to how feasible the functioning mechanism of the rifles from Elysium is- electrically set-off caseless 5.25x25mm ammo with the propellant detonated by a 5 amp charge. [t]http://i.imgur.com/ajlnpg2.jpg[/t] EDIT: IIRC the yellow variant in the pic's a rifle chassis modified into a stun rifle firing electrical bolts (likely via some sort of electrolaser system).
would you look at that it's even safe for work
I feel like there is a dark joke to be made about a gun safe for work, but I can't make it...

[editline]20th August 2016[/editline] I really liked that gun, although the revolver was way more fun.
