The history of NATO is a history of America ruining good guns.
More like a history of weak, puny European design departments not being able to keep up with strong US arms industry :v:
The history of NATO is a history of America ruining good guns.
[t]http://www.breachbangclear.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/WTW-internal-view-of-the-G11.jpg[/t] on the other hand, we only asked for a gun to shoot a 3 round burst and the germans made this GLORIOUS RIFLE OF AMAZING CLOCKWERK ACTION! plus britain always went off to do its own stuff so its not all our fault
but it shoots 3 round bursts so why are you complaining
Speaking of the SA80, here's a couple more shots of the A3 [t]http://i.imgur.com/JydDMJD.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/9nJffwj.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/6iGyTKs.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/gKYhlYQ.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/NoeavQw.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/YnCTos2.jpg[/t] [t]http://www.combatandsurvival.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/SA80A3-UGL.jpg[/t] They also have a new shorter barrel grenade launcher that can be detatched and used standalone like a M320.
but it shoots 3 round bursts so why are you complaining
no it fires 3 times in one cycle, much more complicated
There's a place an hour from where I live called Shooter's Outpost. I don't know who owns that business, but he must be rich as fuck. Among the things on display were at least 8 MP-40s, 4 S&W M76s, a Sterling SMG, 3 BARs, at least 3 MAC-10s, at least 3 MAC-11s, a Reising M55, and an M134 Minigun (it wasn't there this time, unfortunately). But the best part was this: The Solothurn S-18/1000 20mm anti-tank rifle. There's a crank on the other side so that you can crank the slide back and load the first round because the spring is that strong.
no it fires 3 times in one cycle, much more complicated
Well that was the point. It wasn't just "Fire 3 bullets", the point is that it fires 3 bullets so that the last bullet leaves the barrel before the recoil kicks in. That's why it's so complicated.
Speaking of anti-tank rifles... [vid]https://videos.full30.com/bitmotive/public/full30/v1.0/videos/forgottenweapons/ce20dd02102cf22d659b99b08d63794f/854x480.mp4[/vid] [editline] You could say I like it a Lahti [/editline] Also a Big Fucking Gun: [vid]https://videos.full30.com/bitmotive/public/full30/v1.0/videos/forgottenweapons/da7dd65e03664150585c4decb99c1138/854x480.mp4[/vid]

That's why it's so complicated.
I mean, the system is so complex that we can't even confirm that it actually shoots the bullets, rather than say, teleporting them into the target.
Speaking of anti-tank rifles... [vid]https://videos.full30.com/bitmotive/public/full30/v1.0/videos/forgottenweapons/ce20dd02102cf22d659b99b08d63794f/854x480.mp4[/vid]
I wonder how many BT-7s this thing knocked out
It would have been so much better if the US didn't gimp everyone into using full size rounds back when the development for it originally started, if intermediate rounds were adopted it might have been a lot better than the rocky road its had now.
The worst part is that not even a decade later the US basically ditched 7.62 for 5.56, rendering it a moot point. It's curious to think what could've been.
While this is slightly offtopic, went to Parola Armor Museum today and took a lot of pics, here's few of them: [t]https://scontent-arn2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/14242445_912338375576521_4391248953230687325_o.jpg[/t] [t]https://scontent-arn2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/14311348_912338505576508_761656090937533721_o.jpg[/t] [t]https://scontent-arn2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/14257627_912338622243163_568886646945120664_o.jpg[/t] [t]https://scontent-arn2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/14257536_912338858909806_7610967241942333105_o.jpg[/t] [t]https://scontent-arn2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/14305194_912337838909908_6196930341724442465_o.jpg[/t] [t]https://scontent-arn2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/14352118_912335532243472_3271518841463489893_o.jpg[/t] [t]https://scontent-arn2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/14249802_912335595576799_2921757539978695761_o.jpg[/t] Not sure if these pics load up, so lemme know if they don't.
I've always loved that proto-L85, it looks so dope Wish the modern version kept more of its look
I've always loved that proto-L85, it looks so dope Wish the modern version kept more of its look
EM-2 != L85 The EM-2 has a completely different operating system, the L85 was originally a bullpupped AR18
And if a bullpup L85 was switched so it was normal... It actually looks ok tbh.
Actually, It'd look like this: Before they went to this: And this:
So I was talking to my great aunt and I asked to take some pictures of the bayonet she keeps next to her bed [t]http://puu.sh/r9fN5/f299165c21.jpg[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/r9fMH/410bea852b.jpg[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/r9fMm/48b1fb7225.jpg[/t] [editline]12th September 2016[/editline] it was apparently her grandfathers from WWI
That looks to me like it's in incredible shape.
but it shoots 3 round bursts so why are you complaining
Because it requires a mechanical engineering degree to field-strip. :v:
Because it requires a mechanical engineering degree to field-strip. :v:
What do you need to completely take it apart?
What do you need to completely take it apart?
A workshop and at least a few thousand worshipers. [editline]13th September 2016[/editline]
While this is slightly offtopic, went to Parola Armor Museum today and took a lot of pics, here's few of them: Not sure if these pics load up, so lemme know if they don't.
Seeing swastikas on those poor machines angers me. At least let them rust on their motherland's garbage.
erm, those are finnish swastikas
erm, those are finnish swastikas
Even worse. At least the capturing country should deserve it.
Even worse. At least the capturing country should deserve it.
what?
Even worse. At least the capturing country should deserve it.
what did he mean by this
Maybe he's got tourettes
- Finnish government deposed in evil neo-nazi coup, gas chambers already being constructed -
Maybe he's got tourettes
No, just overwhelmed by rage when I see such beautiful and wasted machinery still being kept with the captured paintjob, instead of glorious soup green. The fact that they also look like they are falling apart, doesn't help. (User was banned for this post ("absolutely ignorant shitposting" - Orkel))
