Partisans are cool, especially east euro ones [t]http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Bgq0HNrt_C0/VlrRLrNFq1I/AAAAAAAAKJw/760rMYw6tQk/s1600/A%2Bwell-armed%2BSoviet%2Bpartisan%252C%2B1944.jpg[/t][t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0d/Soviet_guerilla.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/hmWOfuZ.jpg[/t][t]http://www.ww2incolor.com/d/734369-2/partisano+in+the+forest[/t] I love the heavily armed eastern european villager look and the best partisan picture of all get on my level, фашист
From Forgotten Weapons [vid]http://i.imgur.com/lO8Bxm8.mp4[/vid]
This is a Benke-Thiemann stock for a Luger, which folds in on itself when not in use. The gun can be fired from the folded position (a bit awkwardly), and they made leather holsters to carry them that way. But then you can unfold the stock to fire from the shoulder. It’s exempted from the NFA, so doesn’t require paperwork. Of course, there aren’t many around. This one is serial number 16, of a few hundred made in the 20s.
i love the idea but it seems that it isn't that practical
Looks cool as fuck though

The light tank looks like a Sheridan and Panther had a really bad night boozing.
I got some new accessories for my KSG. Now it's a fucking war machine. I'm literally John Wick. [t]https://i.gyazo.com/439e4b5381a64aa106d01f9ec6cf5365.png[/t]
Neat, never knew there was a thread for weirdo guns. Anyone ever seen this thing? I like the M8 AGS But then I like the M551 so I just guess that makes me weird
Is this based on the CV90 just with some modification to the back and a different turret?
It's an updated M8 AGS, which was meant as a replacement for the Sheridan air-droppable light tank. The general idea was giving airborne troops a vehicle that could provide fire support and resist up to 14.5mm fire on landing, and then have extra armour bolted on later for heavier fighting once they link up with ground forces.
Going back to the light tank concept seems strange. Maybe they should just mount a 120mm gun on an APC.
Going back to the light tank concept seems strange. Maybe they should just mount a 120mm gun on an APC.
The main idea is that it can be air dropped by a C-130 instead of having to be airlanded by a C-5 or C-17, and then be continually upgraded in the field in just a few hours, to make it increasingly survivable. It's not a 'light tank' like an M5 Stuart, more like a Tetrarch or M22 Locust.

I doubt a 15 or 20 tonne tank can resist an RPG7, let alone a modern anti-tank system. It just seems pointless to have all that armour against yet not enough to actual stop the threat. It's like all or nothing armour on old battleships. Either armour it properly to survive the threat or no at all. For the same weight they could get an APC that has a 120mm gun, can resist auto cannon fire and can carry troops.
Another very cool vehicle much like the M8 AGS (though only airlandable, not airdroppable) is the Stingray II light tank. Slapped together partially from bits and pieces of other US armoured fighting vehicles to keep costs down and produced by Cadillac, this bad boy was made for the same 1980's AGS competition as the M8, but only adopted by Thailand. Which is sad, 'cause it looks rad as fuck. [editline]16th September 2016[/editline]
Still not sure why they can't just use an APC. Level one can resist 14.5mm fire and is airdroppable, level two can be mounted in less than an hour and resist 23mm fire but has to be landed, and level three can be mounted later in the field and resist RPG-7's. The M8 can resist autocannon fire, and you aren't gonna be able to mount a 120mm and still be able to carry infantry anyway. Look at the Stryker MGS, only mounts a 105 and doesn't carry shit.

Only some very few shots were fired during testing, and the revolver could be said to be a complete failure. The 'automatic revolver' was meanwhile the first Norwegian construction that was tried out in regards to an eventual future half-automatic service pistol. The revolver is found preserved in England (Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess' collection and photo).
(I'm not sure if my translation of "Hovedarsenalet" (-> "Main Arsenal") is correct)
[t]http://www.forgottenweapons.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/landstad-stripped-right-450x293.jpg[/t]

The weapon completely disassembled for cleaning. There are relatively many parts, most of which are complicated. It is unclear where Landstad got his ideas from.
Forget kraut space magic, norwegian viking magic is the new trend.

Imagine being an alien and seeing some motherfucker in power armor waving this block of kraut space magic around.
Isn't 1, 3, 45 kind of a leap? Who needs a 45 round burst? :v:
Isn't 1, 3, 45 kind of a leap? Who needs a 45 round burst? :v:
It's a -45 round burst. You suck the bullets back into the barrel.
It's a -45 round burst. You suck the bullets back into the barrel.
I can see how that would be useful. Talk about kraut space magic
You ever just browse IMFDB and find weird ass guns that look like some future shit you'd see at a wal-mart? [t]http://www.imfdb.org/images/1/10/Beretta_U22_Neos.jpg[/t] Also, i dont know if these wooden handles are oversized or the guns are undersized.
