If I remember correctly, the biggest problem they had was rattling and giving away their user's position. I'd imagine they were also heavy and made the weapon unwieldy, as with most drum magazines.
I don't blame the Russians in the slightest for switching to a more conventional magazine.
Most drum mags were also extremely unreliable due to the whole system being fragile. Put one dent in the drum, and it's toast.

You'll never see a horde of them move in unison.
Why? Engine failure. :v:

I love how American vehicles these days are like Russian uniforms were five years ago; a complete mess of different colours.

Well, the ones back home are usually painted woodland camo, but the ones that have been 'there and back again' stay tan, since chances are they're goin' back somewhere sandy; taking the current climate into account.

true
Most Strykers kept their olive paintjob though, oddly enough. Even when they were used in Afghanistan or Iraq

I don't think there are any Strykers that got the three colour NATO paintjob either

They painted some of the refurbished ones in 2009 tan, but then they stopped caring again

I need one of these for camping/hiking. Would be lovely to have a rifle which isn't overly complicated/built and has all the nifty features of this bugout gun.

Seems like a longer (and thus more difficult to pack), less ergonomic version of a Sub2000

At least it isn't a kel-tec.
Unfortunately, my dream firearm is a PMR-30.
17oz pack rifle, about as simple as you can get:

I think really it's just their pistols that have reliability issues. I've never had a single problem with my Sub2000 apart from when I tried to feed it steel cased ammo.

Nah. We've got a guy over in the Firearms thread with a KSG, he's had it for, I wanna say, over a year.
He only got it working reliably in the past couple of weeks.
If I had an M1 Garand I'd be happy pretty much forever. That's the only gun I want.

From what I've heard the KSG is more reliable if you throw it at someone instead of trying to shoot it.

Words of advice: Buy one about three months after the elections. People usually start selling them again once things calm down.

Pre-election hoarding.
Hillary's not gonna ban guns. Obama barely did anything gun-related, I don't see why people are panicking now.

The Canadian Skink prototype. Four 20mm cannons on the turret for anti-air defense
Project was canceled because apparently there weren't enough German aircraft to justify its existence
Also, this thing

That's the Azovette, which is an APC built from the hull of a T-64. Allegedly, it has 1.5m thick frontal armor.

That's because he lacked the support to pass the houses. Hillary pushing for gun control depends on the same.
