i'm pretty sure if you put the ram through a window into a room full of hostage takers to look around with the integrated camera, they're going to shoot the hostages... but otherwise i cant decide if its a great thing or a stupid thing, because on the one hand its not an overly large former military armored vehicle that some places have been abusing a little lately, and the 2 story attachment is not a bad idea, especially if you're deploying onto the roof of something. on the other hand, you can't exactly drive those things fast with the lift up and they aren't exactly fast at all, those bobcats are super slow to begin with, putting a ton of armor on it probably slowed it down even further
I don't think their top speed is a concern, a stock bobcat is geared down to a top speed of like 10-15mph. Even with the added weight it's still going to reach that speed.
So I decided to look up armoured bulldozer
How could you forget the D9 bro???? Probably one of the most controversial armored vehicles given its famous/infamous use by the IDF both for clearing land for settlements and as a fucking weapon itself for physically demolishing enemy positions. [t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3d/IDF-D9-bulldozer.jpg[/t] Thanks to the armored cab, tall blade, and HEAT cage, and the elevated position of the crew, it's capable of withstanding an pretty ridiculous amount of fire and even IED detonations. Many of them even have pintles for FN MAGs, M2s, and even Mk19 grenade launchers [t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/b7/IDF_D9_-_IZE10173.jpg/1024px-IDF_D9_-_IZE10173.jpg[/t] you see this fucking thing coming, its time to leave
Following several incidents where armed Palestinians barricaded themselves inside houses and killed soldiers attempting to breach the entries, the IDF developed "nohal sir lachatz" (נוהל סיר לחץ "pressure cooker procedure") in which D9s and other engineering vehicles were used to bring them out by razing the houses; most of them surrendered because of fear of being buried alive.

During the Battle of Jenin 2002 armored D9 bulldozers cleared booby traps and improvised explosive devices, and eventually razed houses from which militants fired upon Israeli soldiers or contained possible IEDs and booby traps. A translated interview with one of the drivers was published by Gush Shalom.[4] After the deadly ambush in which 13 soldiers were killed the D9s razed the center of the camp and forced the remaining Palestinian fighters to surrender, thus finishing the battle with an Israeli victory.[5]
killdozers [editline]21st November 2015[/editline] i mean israel weaponized essentially large model airplanes to setoff egyptian AA sites durring the Yom Kappor war in one of the first actual tactical uses of drones, so killdozers isn't that far out of their toolbox
Warcrimes on tracks. I know you can say that about basically any military vehicle, but the IDF designed that vehicle with the one purpose of highly illegal occupation and settling and live burials in mind. [sp]But yeah they're hellacool[/sp]

Cool looking gun, but I remain skeptical of that entire video.

That's a total fake. Other homemade railguns I've seen don't have enough power to pierce a single piece of plywood, have ENORMOUS banks of capacitors attached, and don't make a normal gun noise like the one in the video. Its clearly just a gun in a fancy box with a light. And then he claims it went right through the steel plate without showing the hole.
The DeLisle Carbine is so cool, I'd want to own one if it didn't cost so much are there any more modern guns in the same concept?
No rifles that I know of, but B+T make a modernised Welrod called the VP-9 (Veterinary Pistol 9mm). [t]http://i.imgur.com/eLtg1L0.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/W0BizNE.jpg[/t] https://www.bt-ag.ch/assets/uploads/downloads/25/VP9%20English.pdf
The lack of trigger guard really bothers me
are there any more modern guns in the same concept?
Anything in .300 BLK or 9x39, really.
Anything in .300 BLK or 9x39, really.
Ruger makes .300 BLK, .357 and .44 Mag bolt guns, which I'm sure you could have integrally suppressed. [editline]22nd November 2015[/editline] It's a rifle projector, for showing the enemy discouraging propoganda :V
The DeLisle Carbine is so cool, I'd want to own one if it didn't cost so much are there any more modern guns in the same concept?
Not a bolt action, but it's similar in concept, with the integral suppression and shit. The AAC Honey Badger
Overhyped yank shit ^ [t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0d/VSS_Vintorez_and_AS_Val_Conscript_day_in_Moscow_2011_01.jpg[/t] True-school
i can't name a gun with an integral suppressor that's overrated.

I'm sure someone will just call it a vaporizer and when a police officer questions you on it, he'll just look away in disappointment.

Omg you guyz were posting video game weapons a while back, and Fallout weapons, so I think I should post mine.. [t]http://i.imgur.com/Egw7H46.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/zx6lS6a.jpg[/t] ALso my personal fave [t]http://i.imgur.com/Oe71VMn.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/96ZajQE.jpg[/t] with or without suppressor? Not sure, but at least its bigga.
At least Borderlands made them nice to look at.
It'd be really awkward to put a round in the chamber with that first gun. Bolt action without a shoulder stock just seems weird to me.
-Fellatio 4 Guns-.
i dont understand why this is being dumbed
i dont understand why this is being dumbed
I'unno, I also had an irrelevant picture at the end which I snipped away. I think FO4's pretty sexy tho.
It'd be really awkward to put a round in the chamber with that first gun. Not sure if any of you guys can answer this, but I'm looking for an image of the before and aftermath of an instance in either Iraq or Afghanistan, when US Troops failed to take a city, they eventually decided on simply carpet bombing it, until no building was left standing. Does anyone possibly have any idea on what the story was or has the images from it? [editline]23rd November 2015[/editline] [t]http://www.wired.com/images_blogs/dangerroom/2011/01/tarok-kolache.png[/t] Nevermind, found it.
