For reals. It looks like a 11 year old drew a rifle. From the trigger guard to the buttplate, it's just one straight line.
No, you want to see a gun that was drawn by a child?
Simonov’s AG-043

The valentine was probably the best semi-medium to light tank of the early war period of any nation imo.

the thing is covered in bullet traps and the 2lb gun is as adorable as it is ineffective. still its better than nothing which was the alternative
I always loathed that type of straight stock shape, no matter if it's on a rifle or shotgun. "Classic look" my ass, it's awful to hold.
That's one of the reasons I will always prefer the A3 version:

Also, aperture sights are superior.
i dunno about you guys but i wish i had the patience to draw firearms like that when i was 11
i just went with 'long tube barrel + rectangle receiver + tube scope + triangle stock' rifle or the classic 'long horizontal L' handgun
I'm not sure if I like this or not. The Spanish CETME Model L.

i like everyting except what it's chambered in
that style of rifle looks just plain weird without a straight mag full of bigger bullets.

I'm just waiting for .75 caliber explosive rocket-propelled rounds to exist
I'm just waiting for .75 caliber explosive rocket-propelled rounds to exist
would be pretty good for space combat, large slower moving rocket rounds, low recoil and large impacts, without generating too much high velocity shrapnel

Poland's had them since the 80s.

Yes they are mag fed semi-auto 40mm grenade launchers.

Everything's fine except for 2 things. The Spanish made shitty mags for it. The mags were so bad that soldiers would scavenge NATO mags after doing military exercises with other NATO countries because those worked.
The other issue I have with it is that no one is making receiver blanks to take advantage of the parts kits on the market. An alternative to the HK33/53/93 series for civilians.

(i know it's a british rifle but fuck you okay we used it and made it a couple times too)
I really wanna get one of those rifles one day.
I'd consider the Mk3 to be the 'Australian' enfield since we were using it during WW2 while the Brits had already dropped it for the No.4

they also look like they were made out of whatever was laying around the shop
someone probably went 'andrzej we need a grenade launcher comrade' and the guy was all 'can do', this is generally the way we achieve things over here
French tanks would like a word with you
Well, yes. But at least the British could fight.
Nigga, the french army did alot more than the UK ever did in May/June 1940.
[editline].[/editline]
Even my tiny ass country fought more and harder than the BEF :v:
Not saying that the UK did nothing, though.
iirc the french conducted successful bayonet rushes in WWII on several occasions. If that's not badass I don't know what is. Don't shit on the French.

I kinda like the look of this shotgun. It's got rails but it doesn't look too greebly or bubba'd
Well, yes. But at least the British could fight.
Pretty funny coming from a Dane.
Danes lasted what, 5-6 hours?
Six hours
[editline]15th February 2016[/editline]
However, Danes lost 16 while Jerry lost roughly 200
so ergo Danes had a bretty gud k:d ratio
iirc the french conducted successful bayonet rushes in WWII on several occasions. If that's not badass I don't know what is. Don't shit on the French.
thats not badass, thats suicidal. nobody says the japanese were badasses for their banzi charges, everybody says they were stupid.

But score isn't saved until after the match and they dc'ed early

Greek soldiers allegedly did that too during the Battle of Crete, they'd fight until they ran out of ammo so they affixed bayonets and charged German positions to get more ammo and weapons

I've never understood that mentality.
"MAN! Dude when they attacked with bayonets first they were SO AWESOME" - when in regards to European militaries
"Wow, what a bunch of dumb fucking idiots, what was going through their heads" - when in regards to Asiatic militaries
Not trying to make this sound like a race thing, no, but when you charge with bayonets against automatic weapons you're kinda....
dumb.
But when the French do it suddenly it's heroic and brave
I've never understood that mentality.

I think the key distinction is successfully conducted bayonet charges
More often than not the only real difference between a stupid and heroic act is whether or not it worked
not to belittle french forces, but they didn't exactly have much going for them in most of ww2, so naturally they'd play up anything they could

The Banzai charge has a different connotation to it. They weren't intended to succeed, they were a form of Gyokusai, or honorable suicide. The intent was to die charging the enemy, rather than surrender.

The Japanese did it because they were fanatical, stoned, or both; they weren't necessarily dumb, and they had been fighting for years before WWII.
Dumb is: "Charge the enemy machineguns or we'll shoot you in the back", i.e., the Russians...
Have to motivate those starving conscripts somehow I suppose...
