Arma 4 will suck!
Except they won't include any fancy stuff :c
I shoot clays. It is pretty fun, and it's one of the easiest gun related things you can get into here. I'm not in a position to own a shotgun of my own (living arrangements don't allow for a safe), but my brother bought a Remington 1100 Trap just for me to use when we go shooting. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9988278/1100_2.jpg[/t] It took a lot of tweaking before it worked consistently and the gas rings are going a bit rusty, but it's pretty fun to shoot. This picture's a little outdated, recently we replaced the stock with a polymer one that had a lower comb and a matching handguard. It's a shame to do away with such pretty wood, but it looks pretty great with the polymer furniture as well.
Wait... you guys can get semi-auto shotguns?
You can get most kinds of shotguns over here providing they're limited to 2+1 capacity. If you have a firearms license you can have shotguns with no capacity limit at all, which means detachable mags are fine. I've seen people shooting clays with the most mallninja-esque Saiga-12 you can imagine.

[editline]20th March 2016[/editline] Also so you don't have to pick your shells off the floor.

found this knife at a flea market yesterday, figured it was cool enough for the thread: [t]http://i.imgur.com/9xV8vTb.jpg[/t]
Ukraine continues to modernize its arsenal
I'm not entirely sure about the Maxim, but I do know that during WWI, in field conditions, a company of ten Vickers guns fired for 12 hours totalling a combined 1.000.000 rounds with a maximum of 120.000 from a single of the guns, with not a single jam between the ten. Shit is crazy reliable, and apart from being bulky and heavy, doesn't really have much dragging down its' usefulness.
If it works, then I don't see why not. A bullet from a hundred year old gun is still just as deadly as a bullet from a modern one.
i'd wager a maxim is a better choice for extended stationary suppressive fire than a pk/pkm, because, you know, water cooling..
And you can use the heated water to make yourself a cup of tea!
Knowing the Ukrainians, they're more likely to stuff the cooling jacket full of potatoes and carrots to make a nice borscht to eat after the battle.
Ukraine continues to modernize its arsenal
That must be one hell of a setup to fire though, twin Vickers or mg-08s... Keep them fed and watered and they'll keep up a wall of lead On a side note where the hell did they even get 2 of those?

[t]http://enoughgun.com/forum/download/file.php?id=1831[/t] Australian-legal (It's a straight pull) [editline]21st March 2016[/editline] In some states apparently, some states re-classed it recently as a Category D recently, apparently?

What better way to disorient the enemy than taking out all his fancy camera tank vision and sights? I mean that entire sight system is useless after the electricity dies.

I imagine the mentality survived the Soviet Union.

Keep them fed and watered and they'll keep up a wall of lead On a side note where the hell did they even get 2 of those?
Well, as the British Vickers, German MG 08 and Soviet PM M1910 (Machinegun Maxim model 1910, the gun in the picture) are all based on the Maxim machine gun, the guns are fairly similar in function. The Maxim design in general is renowned for extreme reliability, so even using one today wouldn't be much of a disadvantage, as long as you are fighting from a static position. As long as you have ammunition, water and spare barrels, you can most likely keep fighting, and that is not even something that can be said about many firearms to this day. Also, since the m1910 is chambered for 7.62×54mmR, the ammunition is still in production, so supply would not be an issue.
Thats why you invest in EMP technology, make your shooty guns low tech, and train your soldiers to not rely on high-tech stuff you might supply them, like some weird helmet AR Hud.
But countries aren't doing that. Infact russia's new tanks are completely electronic, you'd need to replace the entire tank rather than a couple of elements.
Thats why you invest in EMP technology, make your shooty guns low tech, and train your soldiers to not rely on high-tech stuff you might supply them, like some weird helmet AR Hud.
the thing about EMPs is the US, China and Russia probably all have something sitting in a warehouse somewhere, but its waaaaaaay safer to just jam your enemy's sensors and blind them with conventional devices instead of kill all the electronics in a region because your troops would be blind, deaf, and disorganized as well. Really EMPs are way more scary to the modern battlefield than nuclear weapons [editline]21st March 2016[/editline]
Also found on the advisor: Also the Thermal scope on his rifle is pretty fancy
thank goodness it runs linux and wifi, so i can download torrents to my scope

But when do we stop the Patriots?
But when do we stop the Patriots?
Once Liquid gains control of SOP
That must be one hell of a setup to fire though, twin Vickers or mg-08s... Knowing the Russians they probably made hundreds of thousands of them, and once again knowing the Russians they probably stored all of them in salt mines or something like that once they were replaced. I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere in Russia or Ukraine there's a hidden cache of them just sitting around still perfectly preserved in globs of cosmoline.

Any reason why deactivated guns are so expensive? Could just go all out and get an actual working rifle for those prices
But when do we stop the Patriots?
As soon as we can get the Broncos on the phone.
