Best part is, that truck still probably drove away.
The Toyota Hilux was the first car to be driven to the North Pole.
They can do anything.

It also had a mounted gun :v:

I like the look of M-Lok since it uses simple rectangular shapes for a clean look. It's easier to produce than keymod because of that and theoretically more stable
I keep forgetting about mlok, it looks great but I wish it was cheaper. Even the rail pieces are expensive as hell. I do hope it all comes down in price, cause mlok reminds me of the vent slots on the FAL but for accessories
After seeing all those technical truck pictures, I want a car combat game where you can customise your own technical from a selection of pickups, paint them, put decals and stuff on them like Forza, maybe even dirt and wear sliders like in the new Doom.
You bet if we could get a hold of the shit they throw on technical, and we had large enough spaces to go ape shit, we would.
Then again personally if I could get a T-72 with an activate gun, and ammunition for it, and a large enough space, I'd get into competition tank shooting.
If the US got taken over by some foreign power the south would be crawling with Good ol' boys in jacked up diesel technicals for sure.

Do the Russians prefer the Mi-28 or the Ka-52? It's hard to tell.
Do the Russians prefer the Mi-28 or the Ka-52? It's hard to tell.
Clearly our military prefers the Mi-28 over the Ka-52. As far as I know, they order large numbers of the former of different variations and obviously intend to make the Mi-28 their new main attack helicopter instead of the Mi-24. Which is sad, because I personally always liked that crazy co-axial rotor system of the Kamov's helicopters.
Why do they have the Ka-52 then?
Why do they have the Ka-52 then?
Well, they order Ka-52s too, but in much smaller numbers. Probably they just want to test both vehicles, but as for now plan to stick with the Mi.

I knew Chechnya was going through some tough times, but dayum.
Ka-52Ks were meant to serve aboard the mistral assault carriers before the whole crimea thing - Kamov helicopters have traditionally been the domain of the Soviet and Russian navies, mostly for SAR and ASW missions

TORQUE MAKES THINGS EXPLODE
TORQUE MAKES THINGS EXPLODE
Torque makes things rotate, not explode.
Why do they have the Ka-52 then?
Rule of thumb with the Russian military and helicopters; traditional rotor set up is for ground force services, co-ax/helix rotor set up is for naval use.
See the KA-25/27/31: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamov_Ka-27
The notion is that without a standard length tail and tail rotor, co-ax helos are more compact and maybe more stable while landing on a moving target. The downsides to them however are they cannot hold half as much weight, and cannot do high-G manoeuvres without risking the blades of the two rotors oscillating violently and touching.

I wish someone would make a rifle using the G3 action that's chambered in 7.62x39mm. Actually, just convert more weapons to it in general. Stuff like AIA's SMLE-based bolt-action rifles and all these AR-15s popping up in it are cool.
