Shit, they were expensive before... But now with designer attachments!?
Looks like the suburban warfare variant :v:

am I the only one who thinks all modern weapons look like this? You can just add blocks anywhere on the gun to make it "custom".... I get the point it's more compact and easier to adopt for different needs of action, but I still find those old guns with wooden parts. It's like you don't want to have a plastic floor but made out of high class woods.

Is that how itll be shipping, suppressor and all? Looks hella rad. What's that small gray clamp on the scope?

Its cheaper, lighter and easier to mass produce. Theres not many reasons to not make a good chunk of a pistol frame out of polymer.

I think that might be a spirit level.

I know this has been posted before, but I cannot say enough how much I'd love to have a bird hunting gun in this fashion. So elegant and yet so durable looking. Hell could you imagine having a rabbiting gun like it with a .410 shell on the bottom, and .22LR on top? Be absolutely perfect for a leisurely stroll through a field.

I can't tell if it's me or the camera angle but that truck kinda looks like it's tilting heavily to one side

Looks like the recoil would flip it.
Hell, looks like traversing the weapon too quickly would flip it.
Hey Iran, they have these revolutionary new things called Toyota Land Cruisers. Check 'em out. Seriously.

Not even pretending that gun is real, but... They could at least have given it a feed-chute so it could look sort-of the part, couldn't they?

Willing to bet that fuel/water can strapped to the side is fake too.

ya thats the only example of that i've seen before, i'm not sure why it never caught on just that it didnt and we dont have any mass produced ones to speak of
i mean ian didn't have any reasons why it would be a bad mechanism, and outside of it maybe being more expensive it doesnt look bad at all

A T-90A supposedly captured by Al-Nusra Front in Syria. People speculate that the Russians supplied it to the SAA who supplied it to Hezbollah who abandoned it to Al-Nusra. The tank appears to have taken a hit to the frontal turret armor as one of the ERA on the left side has been set off and the left Shtora lamp is missing while the right one is broken.

You answered the question right there.
Why use a fancy and more expensive mechanism, when there is other options that are cheaper and perfectly reliable?
That said. It really does look neat.

It seems like it would be useful for someone who didn't have all their hand motion

When it comes to hunting shotguns, there most definitely are a market for those which are crazy complicated and expensive only for the purpose of being strange and pricey. That one recent shotgun with a single barrel but two chambers moving horizontally comes to mind.

IL-102. The Soviets ended up selecting the SU-25 over it. It really does look like they started its design by taking an IL-2 and strapping jet engines to it

New gun being built by the guy from the last page. The Kolt380. As the name implies, .380 ACP is the ammo going to be used.
It's so weird to see all the firearms designed by Professor Parabellum being actually built with build logs and videos. He floats in the legality realm between Holmes and Luty, but no one actually knows who Parabellum really is outside of the fact he's a fantastic gun designer.
[editline]21st April 2016[/editline]
Oh yeah, and have a Luty which is kitted out!
[t]http://i.imgur.com/UKS1XXq.jpg[/t]
Some part of me is hoping that someday, someone will make a Luty design in .223 with a buttstock and handguard. With how the Luty design usually curves up in the front into the barrel, I'd imagine someone could modify the design to have a less steep climb, and make it so a wood handguard leads out further.
The Colt–Browning M1895, nicknamed "potato digger" because of its unusual operating mechanism, is an air-cooled, belt-fed, gas-operated machine gun that fires from a closed bolt with a cyclic rate of 450 rounds per minute. Based on a John Browning design dating to 1889, it was the first successful gas-operated machine gun to enter service.
