ya but you typically want the front to explode, the part thats penatrated the furthest, not the back.
plus the DU mass doesn't need to be anywhere, its just mass so you could surround the explosive charge with it and still have the same effect, only now you've got DU blowing outwards instead of a brick of it being blown forwards

Fair enough, but if you look closely you'll see that it has a smaller explody cream filling, and that's simply not good.

Yah, but it's 40k, so anything even remotely resembling sensible is heresy and punishable by death.

I looked it up. Apparently it's an Israeli super-Sherman the Iranians converted into a flamethrower tank.
During its service, the Iraqis captured the vehicle from the Iranians during their crazy fuckin' war, and it was later captured by the Poles during the mop-up of OIF. It was last seen on the gooseneck trailer pictured, ready to be shipped to Poland.

That's another thing... Has anyone paid attention to the Hearing Safety Act recently?

That's actually exactly what it's designed for. VP9 stands for Veterinary Pistol, 9mm.

It is 100%, definitely, absolutely certainly, a M36B1. It has a M4A3 VVS hull, and a M36 Jackson open-topped turret, with a M3 90mm gun.
The regular M36 Jackson as we know it is an upgunned M10 Wolverine, switching the old 3in gun for a 90mm gun.
[t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e5/SC198612.jpg[/t]
Now, during production, one of the factories making those bad-boys had a hard time keeping up the supply of the lighter M10-style hulls (in itself just a M4A2 or A3 Sherman chassis with a different hull on top), but had a surplus of M4A3 hulls laying about. So what do you do? You just slap the big ol' gun on the heavier chassis, which leaves you with a much more well-armoured vehicle with a hull-MG that for some reason wasn't the thing you were supposed to build.
[t]http://preservedtanks.com/Albums/American/1545-M36/PICT6716_M36_Zagan_FrontRight_Gucwa_c.jpg[/t]
And then a lot of middle-eastern capture and re-capture happens, and it ends up in the hands of someone with no ammo for the gun, so they gut it and slap a flamethrower in it instead. Then the Poles capture it.
It is a M36B1 with a flamethrower in the tube, not a Super Sherman.
[editline]27th April 2016[/editline]
And since we're talking M36s, here's one from the Yugoslav wars flying Serbian colours and wearing rubber armour.

Probably not a B1, though.

I'm just going by what the website says. They're calling it an Israeli-upgunned Sherman. Guess that's not the case.

The thing the website quotes says that, but the actual website, if you read the bottom-part in the lighter background, corrects it as being a M36B1.

Okay, yeah, I see it now.
That bit about the howitzer is simultaneously confusing and hilarious by the way.

Is it basically a modern Welrod?
The action even looks identical.
Is it basically a modern Welrod?
It is exactly the same, yeah. Interestingly enough, it's being marketed as a way to put down injured animals humanely, since injured animals are pretty dangerous and aggressive; and the sound of gunfire alarms people more than what's warranted for the situation.

Someone somewhere will probably use it for not putting down injured animals humanely.
