Looks cool imo, the mouth on the shaded picture is somewhat strange though...
Oh, the second pair of pants you posted... Oh god those are hot.
Yea... didn't pay attention, true you're right

Thanks but I kind of hate sticking to one style ( even if I make my own ), that's why I draw each of my stuff in a different style =)

:downs:
[editline]06:21PM[/editline]
Thx guys :D
No, no I never said one style, but your OWN style, huge difference. What I do is start with my own style in any medium, before looking at other people's work, then as I go on studying pieces and learning, I will come across different styles, which all have smaller pieces and techniques to them. I take the techniques I like and "modify" my style to have one of those techniques. I keeps my style unique and fresh and noticeable, and I also improve since I am using well tested methods used by masters.
edit- ditch the sword, there are thousands of weapons on this planet, try picking one that hasn't been ridden to hell and back, like the shaolin spade, a new style on the halberd or battle axe, ect.

The left side of the glasses (the character's right (just to be clear)) looks a little off to me for some reason.
All in all it's really good especially for just trying it out. Even if it's manga-ish it's still very well drawn. It looks very nice! Keep up the good work
Perhaps it's the hand floating there?
I'm digging the style.
Wo wo wo wait a minute.
you mean he doesn't have any trousers but she does?!
Ha! anyway this looks very nice.
With western comic style I find muscle, expression and body definition key to completing the style. To tell the truth I prefer it to manga too.
Maybe he wears white trousers?
Steampunk fuck yeah !

You're completely right about the mouth, I have no idea how to shade that, next time gonna search online for comics to see how they do it
Fuck yeah they are :D

No worries, that's exactly what I do, building my own puzzle using the best pieces, if I find a better fitting piece I just throw away the old one and replace it with the new one I found. =]
Ditching the word - done
..
Fuck yeah!

Probably because of the hand like DanTehMan said.
Well I guess I failed drawing in da comic art style. =(
Fuck...
NEW CONTENT !

Now THAT's what I call an itty-bitty waist! Great shading though.
Pants <3
Good picture too ;)
nude version please.
Not a fan of the colors in the new one. Seems odd that she managaed getting a more powerfull red in her hair than on her jacket :raise:
You're right, they shall become this then :v:

I'm trying to give her the "biker girl" look
That looks less "biker girl" and more "emo/anime"
If you want biker pants I would go with either heavy leather with rhinestones or dirty jeans
It doesn't look so terribly like anime like everyone else is saying...
Well, anime's so common on the internet now that a lot of people get so acclimatized to it that they don't even notice
But the hair, the costume, the sword, all very anime. When was the last time you saw someone wearing a giant high collar and a headband?
The high collar, sure. The headband, maybe. Headbands are not all that uncommon in American comics. The sword...it can go either way. I think Kratos' axes from God of War more then generic anime sword. You don't see people calling Kratos anime-ish.
That's cause he's not anime-ish.
Also, headbands haven't been common in American comics since the 1980s. Because they're retarded, lol.

You're right, gonna make darker eumm.. no , I'll give her some dirty blonde hair

I agree that it has the emo look, but what if I make it leather? That could somehow work
It doesn't look so terribly like anime like everyone else is saying...
Thx :buddy:

Hair and sword will be changed like I said, as for the headband it'll become a sweatband =)
I present you the old bitch art style
I agree that it has the emo look, but what if I make it leather? That could somehow work
It's not the material that makes it look emo, it's the design
Belts/buckles/straps all the way up and down = emo
It's not the material that makes it look emo, it's the design

There's also another thing, pants are not the only thing she's wearing =) like that jacket and all, hopefully those clothes will remove the thought that she might be an emo.
Also content, I think I'm going the right way.
Blending what I drew up there with what I drew on the first page =]
Or is it again too anime? :ohdear:

Nobody wears high collars or headbands except for anime characters :\

These fashion models are wearing high collars

About the headband, I said it was a sweatband now!

I think I now found out what made comic art comic art, it's their bigass jaws
My n th attempt at drawing comic style, I think I'm now really near :D

Am I ?? :ohdear:
That's rounding out really nicely.
Is she a tennis player?
[editline]05:28AM[/editline]
(sweatbands are headbands dude, there is no getting around it)

What if it was a hairband
That would look totally different
Yeah it would
Booty booty booty
I'm gonna agree with TH89 on this and say ditch the headband.

It doesn't look very animeish, but on the other hand it looks quite terrible, but sketch is sketch.

It's hardly any different from the rest, just made her look fatter.
And like the others says you should really just remove the headband, it's instantly connected to anime, especially because of crap shows like Naruto that is popular as hell. And how is a sweatband biker-girlish? It isn't.
The reason your drawings on this page still has some anime look to it is the classical tentacle hair and headband. Western cartoons tends to have more plain shapes on the hair, not much details for the hair straws.
