I'll definitely donate, when are you doing it?
I'll definitely donate, when are you doing it?
Thanks a lot man, I really appreciate it. I've got 20 days, we leave on the 30th. I've made £40 from Facepunch donations so far which is great.
If I had any money to give, I'd do it. I'm job hunting now, so if I find a job and get paid in twenty days I'll be sure to donate $20. Good luck, you're doing an inspiring thing.
OP, may I ask. Where/how will you be sleeping?
We're carrying tents throughout the entire thing, all our equipment, food and camping gear will be on our backs.
We're gonna want pictures...
You've really inspired me to do something like this myself for charity. Maybe walk from London back up north. You are great OP :keke:
We're gonna want pictures...
I'm pretty into photography so there'll be fucking hundreds don't you worry. I'm going to need to by a spare battery for my SLR though.
I'm trekking 212 miles accross Scotland for charity, and I need your help.
Wow do it yourself you lazybones!
50 dollars will be headed you're way tomorrow morning. Good luck!
TH89, you can carry me in your manly black arms. Karnifex, you're the man. Also thanks to Alec, whoever you are :) I'm off to bed, I need to get up early and go to the gym to do some last minute training :( That's me at around £50 in donations from you guys, and I'm extremely grateful. You should be proud of yourselves.
i would like to do this too if i ever had the chance and time especially the 212 part i like that
YEAH YOU BETTER THANK ME BITCH THAT WAS TWO HOURS WORK IN SUBWAY, YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I HATE WORKING AT SUBWAY? WELL THE ANSWER IS A LOT PAL AND I'M REALLY HAPPY FOR YOU BEAT CANCER WITH MONEY
The Trans-Scotland Canoe Expedition The Trans-Scotland Canoe Expedition on 10/06/2011

On the 30th of this month, myself and a small group of dedicated adventurers are going on a perilous 212 mile journey across the highlands of Scotland to raise "pure hunners" of money for Teenage Cancer Trust, and we need your help.
Which is it? :v:
I expect pictures.
Agree, we definitely need a shit load of pictures.
We're carrying tents throughout the entire thing, all our equipment, food and camping gear will be on our backs.
Sounds really risky TBH. Are you sure you're going to have enough food for 11 days for everyone (plus extra just in case), assuming you have zero delays in your scedule? Not to mention how will you carry all that? Especially since unlike most long distance hiking trails there are going to be no "towns" or rest areas I assume in which to resupply from. Unless not all 212 miles are going to be in complete wilderness, in which case you guy's would be good on that. Now that I think about it I assume there are going to be areas where you can resupply seeing as you said you'll be doing kayak/canoe for part of it, and I doubt you all will be carrying those the whole way.
Obligatory music: And best of luck to you!
traveled scotland for 10 days in the summer, it was beautiful
Which is it? :v:
It's because the trip finishes on the 10th, so people can still donate as we do it :) Korjax, there'll be towns to resupply on food every few days. The kayaks will be collected by the hire company, we wont need to transport them. Thanks for the concern haha.

I'm not saying get a ride or anything, just exercise some caution. Good luck Scotchair, I'll donate when I get home!
Hope you have some songs by the Proclaimers on your MP3 player, you will need them.
Donated a fiver. Good luck! Is CiP joining you?
Donated a fiver. Good luck! Is CiP joining you?
Hahaha hell no, his outdoor experience just about covers going to the shop for cigarettes! Thanks for the donation :D [editline]11th May 2011[/editline] I've recieved £55 in FP donations, which is brilliant.
Sent £10, good luck.
Braveheart was shot mainly in Ireland but they're pretty similar.
Just up the road from me actually. If i had any spare dosh i'd give it to you but i can't afford it right now, sorry man.

I just read "11 days accross scotland" and saw the picture and mentally assumed that you wouldn't be passing through civilization :v:
When do donations close? I love doing expeditions myself and I'd donate, but all my cards have been cancelled and I have to wait for re-issue before I can donate, which will be at least another few weeks...
