Well, I'm gonna rate it late anyway.
Whatcha gonna do about that?
I hate rap.
That's not what I meant.
I'm having a hard time actually hearing this one in my head, because I don't know how Hussie raps, or envisions Dave rapping, or whatever.

Ha! Awesome.
Take that people who rated me disagree!

I'm going to rate you wrenches because you're a tool.

Isn't the sword a bit familiar?
I know it differs at places, but this drawing style is completely different after all. It still has this blade shape and white color.
I wouldn't be surprised, since the sword is in a stone, and Excalibur was in a stone, and that sword is called the TECTRIXCALIBUR.
cool.
I'm officially up to date on Homestuck! Took me a month or so but I'm finally on par with the story. Glad to see it gets back to John, Rose, and Dave again. Ooh, now I have to wait like a patient little boy now though. Dang.
sweet jegus how long were you off
Evidently he was off for quite some time. It took me about a week to read the whole comic up to about 1/8 through Act 5 Part 1.

In a day, I was able to read Jailbreak, Bard Quest and all of Problem Sleuth.
In a day, I was able to not read any pages of anything because I had already read it all already.
Yus I beat you!

whoa equius is like..... a good rapper....
Eh. 6/10, good effort but using "inferiors" twice hurts it and holy shit does milking a giant monster make baaaaad subject material.
Now to wait for the inevitable fan cover of this exchange.
In one day, I read PS, BQ, JB and to Act 5.2.
Inb4 the sword breaks.
I'm growing to like this style, how about you guys?
Equius is freaking awesome.

I normally spread about my reading! Maybe 100 or so pages a day. I could never do all that in one sitting.

Also, am I the only one that skipped the discussion/explanation about Trollromance?

Also, am I the only one that skipped the discussion/explanation about Trollromance?
I knew Dave was going to snap the sword in half.
There wasn't a lot to read. I can summarize it for you:
There are four quadrants of troll romance, divided into two halves: redrom and blackrom.
Redrom is romance roughly based on feelings of love.
Blackrom is romance roughly based on feelings of hate.
Redrom:
Matespritship is denoted by a heart <3 and is closest to human romance. Desire to mate involved. Karkat and Terezi are possibly matesprits, it's not outwardly confirmed.
Moirallegiance is indicated by a diamond <> and is more platonic than matespritship, so there's no desire to mate involved. It's basically a process where a more violent troll is placated by a less violent one. Nepeta is Equius' moirail, she calms him down.
Blackrom:
Kismesissitude, marked by a spade <3< is a relationship based on hate, where the desire to mate is involved. The early relationship between Tavros and Vriska can be likened to kismessitude.
Auspistice, designated by a club c3< refers to a person who mediates in a relationship between two others in a hateful relationship, in an attempt to keep it functional. This three-sided romance is platonic, so no desire to mate is involved. Kanaya is about the best example of this, she meddles with any relationship she sees getting too violent or dysfunctional.
So there you have it. This stuff comes up later so it's probably easiest if you just have a vague idea of how it works.
Oh, and one last thing:
Matespritship = Flushed Quadrant
Moirallegiance = Pale Quadrant
Auspistice = Ashen Quadrant
Kismesissitude = Caliginous Quadrant
Just in case it comes up, which I think it does.
snip because I was late

And most swords were made of iron at one time. So yeah, argument invalid.
AHAHAHAHA look what Andrew Hussie went out as on Halloween with KC green.
