At first, when kids got trolled here and there, I wasn't very happy about the whole trolls thing, mainly because it was only another unexpected plot twist and mystery. But once the troll arc started, I liked it as much as the kids one, and now I like it much more than kids one.

I like the troll arc but I really have to stay away from all the fanfic / fanart stuff. It ruins the characters for me. Do hope we're going to back to John & Co soon though.

I've been enjoying the troll arc but I agree the romance has been a bit stupid, it wouldn't have been bad if he had only done a little but then he devoted a bunch of pages dedicated solely to it.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I can't say I am a fan of how much the Troll arc is turning into a drama fest, but it seems to have eased up now that they are in the medium.
