My guess is that the Rift is going to fuse the arcs into one. Maybe there will be some more about kids before the rift, but then, the shit is going to get global.

Perhaps that also has something to do with her unbelievably lucky roll?
Her real self had the bad luck (from smashing the 8balls, bad karma, whatever) while her dreamself had a clean slate.

Well you're right about the dream self being the one in the black king battle, but how did she wake up? Sollux was killed, but his dream selves didn't awaken until Feferi kissed him.

Actually if she went unconscious before actually 'dying' I guess she could have woken up. Being out cold is kinda like sleeping, I guess.
