I've met it several times.
First time: I don't know. It was during Problem Sleuth, and I quit when PI imagined up the candy armor for everyone.
Second time: At the beginning of Homestuck. I think I read a thread on Facepunch. It was around Act 3-4 I think. I followed it then forgot.
Third time: I read this thread and then re-read through Homestuck, then through all of Problem Sleuth, then through Jail Break, then through Bard Quest.
I think all three times were in the summer and involved long night of reading.

I found out from the first version of this thread. I give my thanks to the op.
I totally forget. It was probably linked through one of the other webcomics that I read every so often.
Once I started though, sometime before the Act 4 Flash game, it was like crack to me.
I've read Problem Sleuth since it's beginning, than I started reading Homestuck since it's beginning. The fact that he made the first few in flash kinda scared me though.

I found out about PS from that one time when VG Cats updated and it was the featured comic on the sidebar.

Oh ha ha ha. On the mission critical text document you can tell which parts Kanaya edited because of her typing quirk. I wonder how much longer it will take before she realizes John typed that.
First time read Problem Sleuth back when it was beginning, then forgot about it. Found it again coupla months later. It occurred periodically until last time.
