This update is sort of depressing. Poor Karkat, not even a chance to wake up.

I like gamzee's reaction, probably the least depressing thing about the update.
Maybe he passed out before Prospit blew up, He might have had a few moments before his dreamself died horribly. Heck we have no idea what Andrew might pull.
Also, remember this from earlier when Karkat was talking to Kanya in the memo?

They said that before, yeah. Being all brave and fearless kept him awake until the session ended.

I like how Andrew keeps returning to the same point in the story from different perspectives. The parts of the beautiful mosaic MSPA is, are all falling in precisely.
Karkat passed out because Kanaya is ripping Tavros' legs off, Terezi said that because his dreamself never woke up.
So maybe Karkat will wake up now or what? It's been shown that dream forms disappear when they're awake, so maybe Karkats' dreamself has survived.
Yeah but that was because john had woken up once already, it was probably because his dreamself didn't have a bed to return to.
Still he could have passed out before Prospit blew up, meaning he may very well have woken up then, knowing Andrew that could very well be the case.
