On a serious note, I read this thread during class and I probably died a bit laughing. It was so amazing.

WAS hategay for john, but after talking to him more it evolved into this human thing we call friendship.
You guys realize that there's no such thing as "gay" for the trolls, as gender doesn't play a role in their relationships.
I don't think we literally mean that since it's been kinda sorta established that they really don't use gender as a method of selection for relationships. it's more that we just have that word that happens to fit the relationship that John and Karkat may or may not have.
So, more for convenience than anything is why we say it.

Also, Karkat could be talking to them from after they met up, and is trying to change what happened. I don't think that would work, but it does explain why Karkat seems even more mad than usual.

I'm at least glad Karkat finally cut the crap and stopped being so damn linear with his conversations. It kinda confused me for a second though.
I'm hoping this doesn't go where I think it is. I will be very disappointed if Andrew takes troll romance and drags it over on the kids. I liked my original hypothesis more, the one where Terezi and Vriska were fighting through John and Dave. The notion of them being seriously romantically associated makes me repulsed.
I find it to be intriguing - I just want to see how everything turns out to be honest :v:

Agreed but I'm sure the whole notion of them possibly being romantically involved was just for comedic purposes.

I have difficulty keeping track of characters so I left this for a little while, now I come back to it to find a dickload of trolls have rocked up to the party and I'm completely lost.
