Racing games should do this, but only change to soft body/jello mode at the moment of impact.
Awesome, now I don't have to just play Carmageddon or 1nsane to fuck cars up :haw:
Any way I could set up a greenscreen in game and mix it with footage from my camera? Downloading now, looks sick. Great video.
Yeah, just make a big green prop (with a self-illuminated material) and put it in a map and record yourself in front of it. Also, just released the Zeta (vehicle in the video), get it here Jello-y-ness has been improved a bit since that video, the doors do significantly less flopping around when you hit stuff
This is amazing. How can it be free?
I cant even get it working. Says i have no content installed, but i did what the website said to do.
It's basically like 1nsane, just with the physics being even more jelly like :v: Uhh

It's free, I love you :h:

[editline]8th March 2011[/editline] and one more question. is there a more stable version that doesn't suck ass?

Shit this is awesome. What I am really impressed with. is the graphics for a game like this. I swear the desert looked perfectly real. Now just imagine how much fucking effort it takes to program stuff like this. It absolutely blows my mind.

Holy shit, I remember playing this back in early 2010. I'm excited to see how much it has improved since then.
I cant even get it working. Says i have no content installed, but i did what the website said to do.
I have this problem, too. I even tried copying the files to various locations, just in case, but it still doesn't work.
Followed the no content post on the forum word to word, still not working, can we get some help with this please? Really wanna check out the desert and the SUV! Got it working, pressed random buttons until I got the car running, drove into the corner of the garage and the game crashed.
It's... Wond- Fan- Spec- Amaz- GLORIOUS! :swoon: [editline]18th March 2011[/editline] Also I have a usb Playstation-mock analog controller so nah nah na boo booo
My only complaint is that there is little to no engine mass (the front just gets squished) usually and that car parts don't collide between each other (or some of them, hell if I know)
Fucking epic as shit.
Physics porn :buddy:
Are you gabester? Because the music reminds me of all of his music, and it's a nice model to boot.
yeah, that's me [editline]21st March 2011[/editline]
My only complaint is that there is little to no engine mass (the front just gets squished) usually and that car parts don't collide between each other (or some of them, hell if I know)
It's realistic bro, it's all fine tuned to be like real crash tests. If you crash two cars into each other they crush half as much and it'll probably seem more like how much you think they should crush
well what I really meant was that at a higher speed straight frontal crash the engine acts weird I mean don't get me wrong the models and the simulation are fucking incredible but check this out The interior is almost intact, there is no indirect damage, the wheels are inside (I suppose ROR is to blame for these though) I mean, wouldn't you think that a crash like this would make the engine go somewhat inside the interior? (or depending on how well the car was engineered, under it). I'm not trying to be annoying or anything but still this bugs me a little. More pics: You can see the back doors being unaffected by the front ones. I've no idea how RoR handles the technical part behind this all, is it even possible to fix this? [editline]22nd March 2011[/editline] also lol
that thing was built kinda badly (my fault). My newer cars like the Gavril Zeta and upcoming MZ2 crash way way better. [editline]22nd March 2011[/editline] Although part of it is RoR's fault because it has no/very bad self-collision, and absolutely no wheel self collision so the wheel is free to clip through whatever the fuck it feels like [editline]22nd March 2011[/editline]
Oh, when are you going to release it? Are there going to be various modifications? And what's the MZ2? And what would you say is the best crashing car of yours so far?
Oh, when are you going to release it? Are there going to be various modifications? And what's the MZ2? And what would you say is the best crashing car of yours so far?
Zeta is already released: DL MZ2 is a mid engined supercar I'm making. Best crashing car of mine is the MZ2, followed by the Zeta. The 1949 Ford and all the Burnsides crash pretty well too.
oh, awesome!
oh, awesome! [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4608952/brows.gif[/img_thumb]
that just looks like his eyebrows are sliding up and down his forehead :v: need to make the dark part under it stretch upwards too
wow, finally a suspension that can take LOTS of abuse [editline]23rd March 2011[/editline] [editline]23rd March 2011[/editline] also do you have any idea why I can't enable skidmarks and shadows in .38? And is there a non-crashing S10 for it?
