Me and a few buddies just got our tickets for the Hospital Records night at the 02 Academy Brixton in London. Hyped doesn't even cover it, I've wanted to see London Elektricity and Logistics for years. When I first found out about the event my loins became ever so slightly damp... Anybody else going?

no, nothing like that, think more like a Sub Focus "live" set. He'll use Ableton to shuffle some samples around a bit while DJing. All these so called "live" sets are getting boring now, give me a good 3 deck mix any day.

Not to shitpost, but what are your people's opinions on what defines DnB?
Really, I don't care about genre; there's just a certain quality to some music that I like.
My favorites are (in order): Renard Queenston, Futret, Richard D. James (aka Aphex Twin aka AFX etc), Evol Intent, The Qemists, Flux Pavilion, and Pendulum.

I only have an album or two of the above artists, except for Renard (Just checked, 951 tracks of like 30 albums) and Futret (4 albums) and AFX (4 albums).
I have 1,491 songs in my music library collected over the years, most from random artists (except for the above favorites) and most of it I think could fit in the same genre.
Really, now that I think about it, what are the definitions of House, DnB, Techo, Electo[nic], etc? I retag all of my music and most of them are "Electronic" because I don't know/understand all the subgenres all over the place.

[b]170-180 BPM[/b], is the only thing that can really define something as Drum & Bass for me anymore, seeing as there are so many different styles of DnB, or sub-genres, if you want to call it that.
