Pentax 67 - 170 (locally).
I put maybe 400 through it. Forgot if I told you: I did have it serviced and cleaned from 'the guy' that all the Pentax 67 forums swear by. He's a retired Pentax line worker or some such. [editline]9th May 2013[/editline] That damn shutter speed knob though. Glad it seems you've got it sorted though.

Glad it seems you've got it sorted though.
Yeah pretty easy to count back, just if I want to use the metered prism I have to get it fixed because the hole that connects the two shutter speed wheels will be out of line. Took it to my local camera store and they said it would cost about $80 to get fixed but that would include a check/service of the light seals and other maintenance. Haven't got around to it because there's always film in the camera.
that would include a check/service of the light seals.
That actually makes me angry. I had it maintained by a specialist just two years ago. Tell them to fuck right off and that you just want the knob aligned.
Routine repair which includes cleaning and lubing. Installation of light seals and mirror bumper, calibration of speeds and meter. Will clean view finder, and mirror. Sticky stoppers and bumpers replaced. Meter and speeds calibrated. All functions are checked for good working order. There’s more information at pentaxs.com
Bought a second-hand 40D with 30k actuations, that was two weeks ago. It's on 31116 now.
My Leica M8 has a handy service menu where I can view the shuttercount. When I got it it already had about 3000 clicks, so I shot 1000 shots with it myself.
6666 + ~800 LV on a 2 year old 550D
2240 + 326 LV on my t3i i bought in December. Got it at around 100 clicks

Interesting. I've got a D70s (2005) and according to that website it's only done 19,613 actuations. Had no idea it was that low - I got it for about $600 with a stonkingly huge telephoto lens (500mm I think) back around 2007 or so from a really nice guy who said he barely used it - wasn't lying it seems. That brightens up my day :)

My nikon d3100 has a total of 10,401 pictures taken. More than I thought. I bought it two years ago.
