That year was such bullshit! Petrozza should've won. Dude was a fucking boss.
But but but, Christina is really hot!
That's like, the equivalent of basic Physics at elementary school?
A doctorate in Music involves heavy duty mathematics rivalling those of computer science at Nasa. Not only that, but your senses have to be as sharp as a fighter pilots to be able to single out one bad note in a whole orchestra. I know you want to think that what he said implied him being very good at sitting in cirkles and "Coombayah"'ing all night with his weed and guitar with other "creative" people cirklejerking each other. It's probably true in HIS case, but that's not what the profession is about. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_of_Music So MAJOR mathematical sense. Good leadership and a feel for good music. I don't know if he's a Doctor of Music, but Howard Shore is a great example of the qualities associated with it!
Does your boss yell 24/7 ?
No, but when the restaurant is really busy, everyone is yelling
So I'm watching the U.K. version of Kitchen Nightmares and wow is it better. No more censors, no more stock music, and no more DRAMATIC EDITING AHHHHH. I feel like I'm watching Speed Racer when I'm watching Hell's Kitchen now.

ramsey just puts on the angry act in Hell's Kitchen because it's so much more entertaining. he is actually a pretty nice and likeable guy out of the show.
Yeah, from what I understand he's quite the prankster. Of course, when you're working in a kitchen and people fail to use common sense, I'd be a wee bit pissed off too.
Gordon Ramsay owns That said I can't help but feel at least a modicum of the show is scripted or contestants are worked up before the show starts to know what to the expect. Because there is no fucking way he has gone this long in his career treating people like that without someone punching him over. Ramsay original gained notoriety and subsequently fame for his behavior, but hell's kitchen is really just purpose designed to see Ramsay blow his fucking lid at people. I guarantee when he is working off-camera he would be much more tactful and careful how he talks to people. Then again, in his real kitchens he is probably working with quality chefs and cooks instead of borderline retards.

Watch the UK versions. You don't see him scream. [editline]4th August 2011[/editline] Also, the series became shit when they got rid of Jean philippe. I love his character. RIP. Also, anyone actually been to the restaurant? I heard the food there is free or something. That true? [editline]4th August 2011[/editline] Also, you guys need to see the soft side of him. He's brilliant, he's always willing to learn new stuff.
sorry what?

Which of course the other guy lacks completely. And to me, it still doesn't sound very impressive. Music is all about taste. Even if something isn't according to doctorates is a perfect note or whatever, that doesn't mean it can't sound good. So getting an education in music is for me like getting an education in drinking soda. Everyone has their own damned taste and likes.

Here's a clip from another famous chef, Marco Pierre White before obtaining his Michelin stars. Can you guys guess who's that blonde guy with short hair among his brigade, so young and quiet, being trained by him? I like that show... Resturaunt impossible or something, where Ramsay goes to a shitty resturaunt and makes it not shitty.
I like that show... Resturaunt impossible or something, where Ramsay goes to a shitty resturaunt and makes it not shitty.
Kitchen Nightmares...
Kitchen Nightmares...
I don't know, Restaurant Impossible sounds like a pretty cool name for the show.
I don't know, Restaurant Impossible sounds like a pretty cool name for the show.
The problem with that, is that is the name of another show that basically does the same thing.
I wonder if chef ramsay ever eats at like applebees or denny's?
He's said in an interview he takes his kids to McDonalds from time to time
The problem with that, is that is the name of another show that basically does the same thing.
I'd imagine the show wouldn't be as entertaining without Gordon Ramsay in it.
The most fake so called "reality" show i have ever seen, its gotten a bit better but what is with the last few seasons somebody gets sick and has to go to hospital at almost the same time "right before dinner service". Last year prob has one of the most faked injuries/sickness i have ever seen, it almost looked like something out of house and seeing as they are both fox shows they prob scripted that. I just watch it to see Ramsey piss himself and kick garbage cans over a overcooked hunk of meat. Also the episode promos are the most over dramatized things ever, half of them do not even have lines/clips from the next episode sometimes and almost always end in some form of "the most shocking episode ever" but uses diff ways to say it. Also you know that Wediing/Party Planner the gay guy, Fransico he is just a actor playing that role.
I'm so happy Russell didn't win season 8, he seemed like a pretty violent guy with alot of anger and a douchebag in general.

You won't BELIEVE what happens next! *picture of firetruck* *zoomed in picture of fire* *commercial* Now that the firemen have arrived for dinner... *fire over the stove*

I can't watch the US version anymore, it's overly dramatized.
I can't watch the US version anymore, it's overly dramatized.
fucking this
It is overly dramatized, but the winners are actual winners and do go on to work for Ramsay, at least Briefly. One of the winners from the past was even the female Sous chef for Ramsay during a newer season of Hell's Kitchen
