Ok normally I don't post in threads like this or read creepypastas but this has been happening sporadically over the past month: I wake up in the middle of the night, and I see what looks like a man standing over my bed, in an odd position, almost as if he stopped moving when I opened my eyes like in movies or something. Do you know what I mean? I'm having a hard time expressing it in words The weirdest thing about it was, the first time it happened, it was almost as if I recognized the guy. I said something like "all right, knock it off, that's not fucking funny, cut it out" but he didn't respond, he just stayed completely still, for what seemed to me like two solid minutes, staring. I can't honestly recall the last time I was so terrifed, just lying there with him standing over me and I froze. And then just like that, it's over. I don't see him/it anymore. It's happened a few other times, but unlike the first time, I don't say anything, I'm terrifed right away and I can't speak or move for the lightswitch. I don't know if this qualifies as creepy to anyone else but it's really cost me some sleep lately.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis :eng101:
one day a skeleton popped out of my toaster
Not really creepy but I was at Turkey in the summer and each night we heard a weird noise. The sound is comparable to someone using a circular saw cutting wood, but then from very very far away. It went like 'bzzzzzt' for like 2-4 seconds and then it'd stop for like 10 seconds and repeat. We still have no idea what it was, I think someone once said that it is some kind of insect, but I doubt it. Oh and at the same place, there was some kind of funfair and some guy there had a microphone and made jokes I think. Like 2 km further was the place I remained. For some weird reason, we could hear exactly what the guy on the microphone was saying. It sometimes became very vague, but most of the time it was very clear. It is impossible that it was loud enough for us to hear. It was kilometers away and it wasn't loud at all.

I was sleeping peacefully when suddenly I wake up, and over me there was a black figure with a knife, and it was morning too so I could see it perfectly. I tried moving or screaming or something but all I could do was sweat, couldn't move at all. It even moved a bit, sometimes even got closer. After about a minute or two it just suddenly vanished and I could move again. My hands were shacking, was sweating like hell, and was breathing very heavily. What a start of a day.
I watched that Minecraft video repeatidly... Screencap or some shit?
the first post, fallout 3 numbers station. has made me slightly paranoid and worried, i just........ feel a little strange when i play the game now. its scary to say none the less. but thats just me, i mean that was just fucking downright creepy "give me nightmares about the apocolypse" kind of creepy. still
Does anyone remember that one show, I dunno, probably around 1995 that showed something about deli meats? I dunno, but my parents said that I would just sit and watch ten minutes of mayonnaise and make it up. :saddowns:
You know, this may be fake, but I honestly fucking remember something like this.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis :eng101:
I always thought that sleep paralysis is rare and that I'm one of the few who experience it. Although it has stopped pretty much completely now, it was pretty much daily (nightly?) for me until I turned 15. It's funny how you get used to everything. Those legs standing next to me aren't real, I know it.

Scariest sleep-related thing I've ever had happen to me: Last night, I was pretty ill (probably a horrific migraine, but I really don't know), so I tried to sleep. Tossed and turned for about 20 minutes, decided to lay on my back, and I got comfortable and then it happened. Just as I was about to fall asleep... BANGBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMKRAKOWPEWPEWPEWBOOOOOMMMMMBAMBANG My eyes flew open and I sat up in my bed. I found out today that it's called "Exploding Head Syndrome" and trust me, it sucks. I peed myself a tiny bit because of that noise. Hope it never, ever happens again. :ohdear:
Last year on my 22nd birthday (early December), I was riding with my family into Chicago for something-I-can't-remember-what. I was in the back-right seat of the car. Unfortunately, that same day Obama apparently was coming back into town for some reason, so the road right before the one we were going to was obviously blocked off for the entire fucking length of the city so we had to divert the car through some back-streets to find our way around. At one point, we were close to a blockade and had to make a left turn away from it, but my dad drove really slow because he wanted to see what was going on (we didn't know the whole Obama thing at the time). During this slow turn, everyone was looking out the back window at the blockade, but I turned to my side and noticed a scraggly old homeless man standing on the street corner, holding a cardboard sign that I couldn't read. As we slowly drifted right past him, he leaned in and I swear to fucking god, he mouthed the words "Happy birthday" while looking dead into my eyes. I flipped the fuck out and nobody believes me still. ...if I learn to travel back in time, I'm TOTALLY gonna go be that random homeless dude that shows up at random times to confuse the hell out of young me. ALSO, tonight I had a strange goosebumpy experience. I was at my desk here, with a window open behind me. Beneath the window is my car sitting in the parking lot one floor down, a large open field out and to the right, and a dark, empty industrial building out and to the left. It's about 00:30 at the time. I took my headphones off for a minute to go and get a drink when I heard the music continue... but I paused my music. I picked up the headphones and put them to my head, but there was no sound inside, rather coming from behind me. I look, and see my windows wide open, and confirm the sound is bouncing up through the crack (they're the kind that swing out from the bottom) I got close, looked outside, but only saw fog rolling past the streetlights, not a car nor living soul in sight... but the sound grew louder. It was coming closer, definitely playing music similar to what I had just been listening to myself... it got so close, it sounded like the source was directly underneath me, at my car, but there was nothing, not even a shadow from the front door light. My eyes darted back and forth, clawing at the darkness for a source. The faint rumble of a freight train coming down the tracks just on the other side of the field began to overtake the sound of the music which seemed to only get closer to the window as the train moved in... then silence. The rumble of the train somehow faded away in barely two or three seconds and the music ceased to exist... I got goosebumps so hard that I couldn't move without my skin stinging, and the fog got thick and blotted out the street in front of me, leaving nothing but a reddish orange glow. ...nothing much else has happened, but there's definitely a freight train covered in graffiti sitting motionless on the damn tracks right now. It got lit up a little later by another train passing down the secondary track.
Hm, it sounds like you have someone or something watching over you, specifically talking about your first story. Do you believe in angels? :P
NO It's coming for me...I can already hear the screams of the others...lost forever in the passages of time...I can't let them take me...I will resist, I WILL FIGHT! AND WHEN I DO...there will be hell to pay for letting me fall to the second page. Watch out, facepunchers, you have no idea what you've unleashed. Don't bother going to sleep tonight, just rewind to my first page and re-read everything. You don't want to know what'll happen to you if you don't.
[editline]19th October 2010[/editline] :v: Also got page king how the FUCK did that just happen. The thread is now appeased.

The game Megaman Zero 2 It feels less like a Megaman game and more like a device made to sadistically torture the player with it's difficulty

Didn't scare me, though, because I knew what was happening.
I want EHS, sounds cool.
I want EHS, sounds cool.
No you don't. It hurts so bad. [editline]19th October 2010[/editline] Especially if you're not expecting it.

The grudge. Gave me nightmares for ages.
The grudge. Gave me nightmares for ages.
Rated dumb because that movie really was not scary. The worst part was when the ghost comes out of her blanket or something.
Rated dumb because that movie really was not scary. The worst part was when the ghost comes out of her blanket or something.
I was taking the piss considering that even "Nightmare on Elm street" was scarier, and that was shite. Sorry for using sarcasm on the internet.
This video genuinely scared the shit out of me, so its only fair that I scare the shit out of you lot with it too. Edit: It points out the stuff in the video from 2:55, all stuff before that is just the original video.
