I'm going to try my shitty ass hand at making this better.
Shit y/n?
I'm typing this in a rush, I've got to. Before it gets to me. A new DLC for Portal came into Beta today, and I got an email saying that I had been chosen for the Beta Team, at 4 in the morning. I thought that it was pretty damn weird for a studio in the same time zone as me, but I didn't care. I downloaded the DLC immediately, and booted up Portal.
I got a message from one of my friends as soon as I got into the game, it said, “dude, did you get the beta tester job?”
I quickly typed back, “yeah, but I haven't gotten in yet, gimme a couple of minutes to start.”
To my dismay, I got another message, “I gotta talk to someone, I got in too.
There's something wrong with the Companion Cube, it's making all of these weird noises when I pick it up, like... A baby trying to talk...”
“Just let me get in, and I'll get back to you.” I replied, chalking his insanity to all the shrooms he did in college.
I clicked Play Now, and I popped up in the first chamber.
Glados went through all her usual routines, but I wasn't listening to her. I was looking at the timer on the top of the door. They weren't numbers anymore, but nonsensical words, like from, bananas, tumble, things like that, bit odd, I thought, but Glados was coming to the end of her speech, and I got ready to play.
I was just about to jump through the area where the portal should open, when I realized that Glados was still talking.
I started listening, but I only caught onto the end, “...He will be your new partner, I hope you... enjoy... each others company.”
I couldn't take this seriously :v:
make a 52,000 word portal creepypasta that involves cave johnson replacing glados and helping the player through extremely dilapitated test chambers, and then at night evil things come out and you have to kill them, and it ends with ratman popping out of the companion cube which is soemthing cj wants you to deliver to him in exchange for your freedom. so he's been lying the whole time or something.
and it's like the drones in avatar, you have to actually wake up in real life and go on your pc and play the game.
it is
the beginning of something really excellent

And then a Ratman popped out?
ok read the damn post yes he pops out of the companion cube which makes cave johnson a lying prick because it was something vitally important
and it's also a weeping angel, only moves when you don't look at it
shit this could be a mod actually

Wow someone actually didn't gues it right, my IQ is138 gues further someone ? :P
Well here's something that creeped the shit outta me, and I should do some research on it.
I just downloaded Call of Duty: Black Ops' "First Strike" Map Pack. I opened up a private match and put it on closed privacy to test out the maps and find some good spots for camping or claymores. I then heard an "Auguhhh!", that sounded like one of the dying sounds that players emit. I then found a fully loaded AUG and a dead Black Ops Team player ragdoll. No one else was on the server except me, and I hadn't died yet.
:byodood:
Creepy? Yes
Glitch? Probably

A normal human being has an IQ of 80-90. More sophisticated gents have IQ's of 110-140. Scientists have IQ's of 200.

Pretty much all of Dead Space was creepy.

Dead Space is the exact opposite of creepy. It was okay in the beginning, but after that you knew exactly when the enemies were going to show up and which kind. By the 3rd chapter I was numb.

If your IQ was 80-90 you'd be borderline retarded. Also, wasn't the highest IQ ever recorded 190?

Everybody with an IQ over 120 is lying.
People seemed to like the creepypastas about older video games. Dug one up in some really old archives from some website with stories about games. Long time ago.
"We all know of some games that have been tampered, like modded games. Well, me and my friend were walking through an old store, and something caught out eye. It was Legend of Zelda cartridge for the N64. The label of 'do not play' was written on tape over where the name was supposed to be. Frankly, we didn't give a shit. We purchased the game for 50 cents, and left. We wondered why it was so cheap. The game seemed to be in near-perfect condition. We went home, and put it into out N64. Just me, and Justin were in out living room, with the old game. The first thing that greeted us was the sound of rain falling, slowly getting slower with ReDead moans slowed down playing in the background. The ReDead moans were different though... They had better quality, and they didn't loop. They all played at different times, making it seem like they were actually supposed to be in game, but the only thing on screen was a solid black screen with have of the Hyrule Shield on it, indicating that we were supposed to be on the opening screen. They game didn't let us do anything so we just turned of the console. When we turned the console on again, the screen blasted static, and a zoomed up picture of Link without his eyes appeared on screen. This lasted for about a second before going to the main screen. Normally, Link is supposed to be riding his horse, but all it showed was a woman burning while she was facing the opposite way towards Hyrule castle. The woman turned around, we said it had looked like Zelda, but her face was replaced with the ReDead's textures. Instead of missing eyes like the ReDeads, the eyes were replaced with photo-realistic shots of eye sockets with pixelated blood coming out. This too, lasted only a second or too. In instantly reverted to link on his horse. We went the the load screen, all 3 slots had files in them. We decided to play the first file, because it had the least stuff on it, almost near the beginning. The file was named, "Test". It started off right in the middle of the first area after you wake up. Instead of rocks, heads were on the floor. When ever you picked them up, they would scream, their mouths opening up to reveal what we presumed to be bloodied teeth. The odd part, was the graphics weren't pixilated, they looked better than most games out today. If you through the heads at the wall, and explosion of stone was replaced with a sickening skull cracking and blood everywhere. It was pretty messed up, the heads weren't even textures from the games. They were photo realistic people. The heads were missing a bunch of stuff, hair, eyes, nose. The person guarding the way to the tree wasn't there. Instead it was replaced with a giant sign. We read the sign, it read, "Turn back, the end is nigh." We couldn't exit the bubble. Instead, that sentence repeated itself over and over and over again without us even hitting the A button. After 5 minutes of repeating that sentence it ended. The sign, was now covered in a dark red blood and the opening to the pathway was now covered in blood stained vines, winding around a skeleton that resembled the person that once guarded here. We wanted to get by, so knowing we didn't save we restarted the console, and reloaded the save. It put us right back in front of the sign, our screen repeated, "Turn back, the end is nigh." over and over and over until covering our screen. The only thing we could see was Link, because the letters didn't quite cover him. Thinking we knew the level well enough, we walked around. The path was
no longer blocked, and when we switched screens the text was gone on out screen. We were at the tree, but instead of it being brown it was a solid red texture. No detail at all. The tree was also floating about 2 feet off the ground in-game and it was facing the wrong way. It slowly turned around, playing the Hyrule temple them only slowed down a lot, and all the pitches were flat. It gave us chills. When it turned around, the tree was a ReDead's face screaming as the textures from Zelda's eyes were filled into it sockets. The screaming got louder and more horrific as the eyes started melting out of the ReDead's skull, blood soon pouring out of it. There was a power outage, yet the game continued to play. We were freaking out now, turning the console off didn't help. Taking out the cartridge didn't help, and resetting the console did nothing. The tree's face was now completely covered in blood, as it continued to pour down the ReDead's face. The screaming was unbearable, and since there was no power there was no way to turn off the TV or volume. It didn't work. The mouth was covering more that 70% of the tree's face, making it disproportionate. Finally, the power came back on. The screen blasted static one more time before reverting to the load a save screen. There were still 3 files, but the names were different. File 1 saying, "End, file 2 saying, "Is" and the 3rd saying, "Nigh". We immediately shut off the console, and went to the lake and threw the game as far as we could into it."
