I honestly started to see that coming by about the end of the 1st column, at [sp]"Two can play that game as well as one."[/sp]
Still pretty good, though. Wonder if there's anything else he could have done?

Aw, that was just sad. I felt really bad for the guy. There's a real chat engine like that though. You're not imprisoned or anything, but the other person see's you as "Bot"
this one kinda made me laugh
edit:
I went back and read the story part, and it said dont listen unless its night and the lights are off...
I only found it creepy because of how hard a time the guy telling the story had of describing the thing that took him. He seemed more unwilling to describe it rather than unable.
I seriously shat it to that weird girl thing in the video but I just stared at it in the image and lol it's not scary at all.
Agreed. The first time I saw it as a lone image I didn't even think it was the right thing. It just wasn't scary at all.
March 19th, 2014 is when the queen dies.
doesn't that make you brits feel disturbed?
Oh no way! The Fallout 3 one happened to me! What I did was try to make my karma as low as possible. I killed as many main characters as I could, blew up as many places as I could, and stole as much shit as I could. Eventually I turned onto the good ol' GNR and heard Three Dog reciting a bunch of numbers.
That's okay Facepunch, I don't need to sleep.

Huh, well I'll try the Fallout 2 one, maybe it's there too! :D
But seriously, I think I will.
And maybe I'll try the fallout 3 one.
Since video games are in order, lets see if I can remember something....
Oh yeah!
When I was hunting moose in Cabelas big game hunter for the original xbox, it died before I got to it like, twice of Natural causes, like drowning or something. I got pretty irritated, then it died by an animal. The thing is, the wolves weren't anywhere near it. Once I took a shortcut and I saw something humanoid. Another hunter? THere aren't any. It was almost as big as the damn moose too.
I shot at it, it said animal wounded and it ran off. I didn't die, because they guy didn't yell at me for no tags. I couldn't find it. I bagged my moose and left.
I'll have to see which region, area and season it was. I think it was winter.

Oh, wait... it's page 34, scary porn?
I always liked Super Mario 64 when I was a kid. I remember playing it at my aunt's house all the time. Well, one day a pop-up appeared out of nowhere as I was watching gameplay footage on Youtube. I was a little startled, and was about to close the window, until I realized that it was a website showing of a mint condition copy of Super Mario 64 for sale. There was a picture and everything. I usually don't trust these things, but the feeling of nostalgia overpowered me, and I wanted to buy it.
The whole business was peculiar, seeing as how the owner of the game wanted the buyer to send an envelope containing $10 to and address on the site, instead of using something like PayPal. What made things even more strange was that when I tried to gain access to the website (I wrote down the URL) after encountering...problems with the game, the page was nowhere to be found.
A few days after the $10 was mailed, I got a package containing the new copy of the game. The first thing I noticed when I opened the small box was that the "official sticker" with Mario flying in the air was apparently peeled off or something. In it's place was a piece of duct tape with "Mario" crudely written on it in permanent marker. I felt a little ripped-off, but as long as the game worked, I didn't care.
I got out my Nintendo 64 and put the cartridge in. The screen turned on with the familiar Mario face that you could stretch and twist aimlessly. I remembered laughing all the time at the results as a kid and decided to mess around for old times sake. I moved the cursor over to Mario's ear and pulled it to elven proportions. I was going to do the same to the other ear, when my mom got infront off the TV to vacuum "fuc you mom" i shouted but her ass was round firm and luscious and I tapped that the end
Oh god i fell out of my chair

You'll get used to it. The "don't open your eyes or you'll see this" one simply had me sleep through the entire night after I went to bed.
In 1983, a team of deeply pious scientists conducted a radical experiment in an undisclosed facility. The scientists had theorized that a human without access to any senses or ways to perceive stimuli would be able to perceive the presence of God. They believed that the five senses clouded our awareness of eternity, and without them, a human could actually establish contact with God by thought. An elderly man who claimed to have “nothing to left to live for” was the only test subject to volunteer. To purge him of all his senses, the scientists performed a complex operation in which every sensory nerve connection to the brain was surgically severed. Although the test subject retained full muscular function, he could not see, hear, taste, smell, or feel. With no possible way to communicate with or even sense the outside world, he was alone with his thoughts.
Scientists monitored him as he spoke aloud about his state of mind in jumbled, slurred sentences that he couldn’t even hear. After four days, the man claimed to be hearing hushed, unintelligible voices in his head. Assuming it was an onset of psychosis, the scientists paid little attention to the man’s concerns.
Two days later, the man cried that he could hear his dead wife speaking with him, and even more, he could communicate back. The scientists were intrigued, but were not convinced until the subject started naming dead relatives of the scientists. He repeated personal information to the scientists that only their dead spouses and parents would have known. At this point, a sizable portion of scientists left the study.
After a week of conversing with the deceased through his thoughts, the subject became distressed, saying the voices were overwhelming. In every waking moment, his consciousness was bombarded by hundreds of voices that refused to leave him alone. He frequently threw himself against the wall, trying to elicit a pain response. He begged the scientists for sedatives, so he could escape the voices by sleeping. This tactic worked for three days, until he started having severe night terrors. The subject repeatedly said that he could see and hear the deceased in his dreams.
Only a day later, the subject began to scream and claw at his nonfunctional eyes, hoping to sense something in the physical world. The hysterical subject now said the voices of the dead were deafening and hostile, speaking of hell and the end of the world. At one point, he yelled “No heaven, no forgiveness” for five hours straight. He continually begged to be killed, but the scientists were convinced that he was close to establishing contact with God.
After another day, the subject could no longer form coherent sentences. Seemingly mad, he started to bite off chunks of flesh from his arm. The scientists rushed into the test chamber and restrained him to a table so he could not kill himself. After a few hours of being tied down, the subject halted his struggling and screaming. He stared blankly at the ceiling as teardrops silently streaked across his face. For two weeks, the subject had to be manually rehydrated due to the constant crying. Eventually, he turned his head and, despite his blindness, made focused eye contact with a scientist for the first time in the study. He whispered “I have spoken with God, and he has abandoned us” and his vital signs stopped. There was no apparent cause of death.

"I have spoken with God, and he has abandoned us."
I don't care if this is real, I'm sure he was right.
Awesome story, didn't understand the end though, did he die or what?
It's totally real and not a story at all.
He didn't die. The Runner gave him the ability to "see" past the illusion of daily life or something.
I think.
That story is especially creepy to me, though, because there's a bike path exactly like that near my house, right down to the Storm Shelter.
Proof?
This happened on the Xbox version so recoding with any sort of quality would be a pain. I also deleted that character because I finished the game about two weeks ago and I hadn't read this thread yet. I'll try and get it to happen again and if it works I'll take a video for you.

This could be considered proof too.
Most of these stories are pretty freaky, not to sure if the fallout 3 one is real though
