I know it's there, but I feel like it's not scary because I don't get the full effect from the face. *EDIT* this would make a great "red circle here scary face elsewhere" pic.
yeah. Could use a little more color, and be potentially halfway down the doorway since it's still dog-sized. Yay, I'm desensitized to him :buddy:

oh fuck you
Figured I'd go have some fun tonight and take some scary pictures up on the roof. All the pictures I'm posting are 100% straight off the camera, I did not add anything in photoshop, just toyed with the levels and removed the grain so it looks more how it felt to the eye. The first one is my favorite. It looks really awesome.
Is it just me or in the second picture it looks like a hand in the door.
also toying with HDR if you look at the farther headlight, you'll find that the car got into an accident. The little asian kid who owned it seemed upset.
I would be a bit pissed if i dented up my Porsche.... If i had one :saddowns:
whoops, meant that for my other thread, not this one. Oh well, I'd be scared as hell if I bashed up a car like that v:v:v
Oh, well seeing as the pictures here. What is that poster in the background advertising?
ghost recon: Future Warrior. Epic lookin' billboard.
Oh ok. It is pretty awesome looking. Back to Creepy pictures, notice the empty window? Upon closer inspection, i thought i saw something creepy in the window, so i zoomed in. Still unable to see anything, i zoomed in further. As the vomit rose up my throat, i still couldnt make the figure out. Drawing a deep, shaking breath, i zoomed in a tiny bit more..... Im sorry, i couldnt resist. I had to add some humor to the creepy thread.
I noticed it was poorly blacked out via photoshop since frame one :v:
Meh, i cant afford photoshop, and im not going to pirate it. Besides, <3 Paint.net Story time?
"You ok?" I cringed as one of the others shook my shoulder. Apparently, I had been staring into space for a good 5 minutes. I squinted as my eyes adjusted to the surrounding forest. "Yeh, I'm fine. Just give me a minute to get my bearings." I replied. "Hurry it up, you are holding us up." Holding who up, I thought. It came to me instantly, and I sheepishly apologised to the other soldiers behind me, scowling. We had been trekking through the forest for a good 3 days, and I had just wasted some of our precious sleep time. I felt so stupid, so I blushed and moved on. During the day. We made good time, chatting to each other, sharing stories, you know, the generic crap soldiers do when they are doing sh*t all. We might as well have pulled out pictures of our girlfriends and whistled at each other's women. It was the night that really got you. As the sun started to drop behind the tree line, the chatter started to die off, until we were just walking in complete silence, only the sound of gravel under our boots disturbing the peace. So we did that for hours, in dead silence, day after day. None of us could even remember why we were here, it was a sh*t hole, only good for testing bombs or some cr*p. I think even our First Lieutenant was doubting his superiors orders, but we kept going forward. Looking back, I wish the Lieutenant had f**king questioned his orders, for once. Deeper we went, until even the sun didn't bring a respite from the never ending trees and shrubs, day had turned into night, and night had turned into....something motherf**king dark. All of a sudden, and with cries of shock, we all stopped, crashing into each other. Groans and cries spread through the group, and someone from up the front yelled "It's a fork in the path; we are trying to find which way to go". Brilliant, spend millions of dollars on the f**king guns and ammo we use, but can't train the leaders to use a f**king map. After 5 minutes of waiting, it seemed as if the Lieutenant was considering turning back. I wish he did. But then, it was as if he suddenly.....was overcome, by something, and he chose the left path. It was weird; someone told me later his eyes had just glazed over when he barked the order out. But orders were orders, and we marched our way down the left hand path. Instantly, there was an ominous feeling throughout the group. Murmurs and silent whispers passed around us, with some considering running into the forest and back to civilisation. But as someone started suggesting just turning back now, his sentence was cut off in midway by a very audible crack about 20 meters to our right. As soldiers we were, we raised our rifles, and pointed them into the inky blackness. But they were useless in this light, and we soon put them down and continued. Minutes later, the murmurs got noticeably more fear filled, and we started to tense up and glance around at every snapping twig. It didn't seem possible, but we started to notice even the pitch blackness around us got darker, and it seemed as if the trees were closing in on us, scratching at our arms and legs. I'm not afraid to admit it, I was f**king sh**ting myself. Eventually after what seemed like a million f**king years, we arrived at a large open clearing. It seemed like a f**king paradise, after our miserable trip. Around a hastily built fire, we laughed off creepy sounds and sights, but there was still an aura of unease going through us all. We took turns in our sleep, with some guarding us while we slept, then we swapped over. I'll admit it, its cliché, but it gets the job done. And so, inevitably, my turn arrived. It wasn't as bad, seeing as we were a large group, so when it was our turn we were paired off with another 2 soldiers, so 3 of us kept watch. It wasn't too bad, I liked the guys I was with, and we got chatting quickly. With 20 mins of our turn left, we were alerted by a loud crunch about 10 metres east of us. We jumped up; clutching rifles at whatever unknown horror awaited us...and out stumbles another soldier. Panting heavily, and obviously injured, he got another 4 steps before collapsing in a heap. We woke up the Lieutenant, and with his last breath, the man gasped "Отсутствие избежания" and passed away. While we were confused as to what he meant, the Lieutenant was studying his tattered uniform, eventually IDing it as a WWII Red Army uniform, and the language he was speaking was, of course, Russian. We had no translator, so we just kept it to ourselves, and we swapped our turns with the waiting soldiers. Morning brought no respite, it was still intensely dark, but it didn't matter. Each night we survived this sh*thole was an achievement. My eyes were glued together by sleep when I saw the group of soldiers pointing at a spot on the ground. I was still putting my shirt on when I got there. It was just a pool of blood. Upon asking what was happening, I was met with a swift answer "A soldier went for a piss last night, and didn't come back, this is the last spot we saw him". That was the last straw, and our group was quickly hurrying back the way we came, down the track. Again, with cries of surprise, we ran into each other as we stopped again. But this time we didn't complain, we were too shocked. We were back at the clearing, despite having obviously gone down the right track. This time, even our no nonsense Lieutenant was panicking. It was as bright as it was going to get, so while we still had some light, he organised some into groups of about 10, and sent them into different directions with radios to keep us who stayed behind posted, but just as they headed into the darkness, the radios broke down. After about an hour, one group ended up back at the clearing, thoroughly confused, and in 10 mins 2 more came back. One group was as confused as the first, but the other only consisted of one man, completely terrified out of his mind. Our attempts to hear what happened to him and his group were met with frenzied cries of terror, and eventually, to our horror, he yanked his pistol out, yelled "NO ESCAPE!" and blew his brains into the forest. After a few hours of waiting the last group hadn't appeared. We were trained soldiers, put through our paces to fight anything we met with unstoppable force, but we were terrified. All of us. As rumours of what had happened to the missing guys spread around our group, we became more terrified. Realising escape was impossible; some began to go insane, jabbering about there being no escape from this fucking place. One man, eyes glazed over, declared "I'm heading out for a while, sir" then marched into the forest, and presumably, blew his head off. We heard the shot, all of us did, but there was no f**king way we were heading into the unknown to help him. The scariest thing was the cry after it. There was a godforsaken cry after the shot. We heard it, all of us heard it. Whatever it is, it knew where we were. That night was horrific. We couldn't sleep because the unearthly cries continued, steadily getting louder, or closer, as the night wore on until it seemed as if they were right on top of us. I heard whimpers and sobs from terrified soldiers, men who had been trained to kill a child if necessary. But that wasn't the worst, by far. We had decided the safest route was to cut swathes through the trees, and follow the swathes. It was hard work, and we seemed to be digging towards the screams. Yes, they were still going. It was horrible. Work was slow, as we couldn't line up our machetes because our hands were shaking so much. But we did it, and eventually we got to a beach were, miraculously, the radios crackled to life. We jumped for joy; our cries of excitement covered the screams which were now miles behind us, still going. The Lieutenant, with a glint of happiness in his eyes, requested a ship make its way to his present location, and the order was approved. Trouble was, it would take until morning for it to arrive, which meant another horrific night in this hellhole, but it didn't matter, rescue was so close. Excited though we were, the night was still scary f**king as, with the screams of the unknown rising in pitch, until they drowned every single f**king sound out. But morning arrived, and we eagerly awaited our rescue. At dawn, we were already up as we heard the distant foghorn of a ship. Cheers of excitement went up, and we even loosened off a few rounds into the woods, in defiance of the horror within. Imagine our surprise when out stumbles one of the missing soldiers, having suffered multiple bullet wounds from our victorious shooting. A hush fell over us, and we quickly buried him, and placed his dog tags on a nearby tree as a makeshift gravestone. The ship was small; it was the only ship in a hundred miles so it was chosen to rescue us. It wasn't an ocean going ship, it was a small cruise ship made to hold parties, so when we entered a vicious storm soon after our escape, it was quickly obvious that the ship wasn't going to last. As a last resort, and with the ship breaking apart under us, the exhausted captain ordered to abandon ship, and we were soon out in the lashing storm, as the ship was swallowed by the waves. Tired after our long journey, many of the weaker soldiers, like me, passed out quickly. My eyes, adjusting to the brightness, showed my boat had run aground on a beach. I couldn't see anyone else, and I seemed to be the only survivor, at least the only one who had made it to land. I felt a wave of relief pass over me, and it rapidly vanished as I realised everyone else that was in my boat was nowhere in sight. "Don't worry, they've probably gone to look for a place to call for help" I told myself, and for a long time, I believed it. I sat on the soft sand, making trails with my fingers to pass the time, remembering days spent at the beach. I don't know how I didn't notice before, but after a while I noticed a glinting light just at the tree line. Curiosity got the better of me, and I heaved my battered body to my feet. Lurching over, I found a set of dog tags on a tree in front of a strangely placed hole in the ground. Reading the dog tags, I saw the name etched into them. They belonged to a "LT. N .Eskaype". Vomit rose up my throat as it dawned on me what the words meant. The tags still in my fist, I dropped to my knees, and screamed my anguish to the uncaring sky above. As tears of frustration and anger rolled down my face, my cry was overpowered by a laugh. A grotesque, cackling laugh coming from deep inside the inky black forest before me.
