We live comfortably making roughly $30,000 a year. So anything above $100,000 would be extravagant enough for me.

Not really true. Depends on the size of your family and where you are living.
If i had around 10-20 Million i would spend about 2 million on charities, 4 million to red cross, and keep the rest for emergency purposes.

If I made enough money to:
Own a nice house
Own a decent car
Buy computer upgrades
Buy games
Smoke weed every day
Go to hundreds of music festivals
Then I'd be rich enough.

I'd like to have a ridiculous amount of money. Like billions and billions of dollars. That way when I'm older and have my degree I could start my own company(ies) and do my own research into things that interest me, pay for my own projects, etc. I'd like to have different areas of the company dabbling in different areas of science. Space exploration. Biotechnology. Nanotechnology. All of that kind of stuff. Would be nice to be at the front of the wave of discovery and progress.
The point where I make 20mil a year from interest.
